Discover a new skill using clay to to making ceramics inspired by nature. Discover the relaxing nature of clay-making and create beautiful pieces from bowls to sculptures, learning hand-building techniques along the way. For the second part of the session, we'll use paints, petals and wildflowers to decorate a handmade piece that I'll prepare for you in advance. At the end of your experience you'll have a small collection of ceramic masterpieces to take away with you - making lovely display items, or gifts! When we've finished the first part of the ceramics experience, you'll enjoy a sumptuous British afternoon tea feast, from handmade sandwiches and pastries using locally-sourced ingredients, to traditional British desserts - come hungry! All will be served up alongside British teas and drinks throughout the day.

About your host, London Wildflower
Nikki is the founder of London Wildflower, selling wildflower-inspired ceramics. Using nature as a theme within her work, she creates pieces that take inspiration from leaves, plants and objects with interesting forms. Nikki also runs ceramics and decorative classes, often combined with food and drink. Bringing people from all over the world together at London Wildflower events, the sessions provide a beautiful, relaxed setting for people to learn a new way of being creative. As a former restaurant director, Nikki has a wealth of experience in the kitchen and often incorporates a food element as part of her sessions.
