Really enjoyed it, friendly and reassuring teacher - good for absolute begineers (like me) but I'm sure good opportunity for those with more experience too.

Thanks so much Clover, Frankie and I had such a great morning with you. It was such a relaxed and inspiring environment - you helped us so much with our pieces and we're so happy with what we made! Can't believe we managed to make so much! Can't wait to pick them up 😊 Would definitely recommend and we're already looking to plan another session with our friends.

The 2 hour workshop was great fun and it was good that we could take away 3 items we made at the end. It would have been good to have a little bit more time to go through the techniques but she came round and helped us individually and we managed to get a lot done in the time. Great fun and very relaxing!

A lovely introduction to pottery in a relaxed atmosphere. Clover is friendly and helpful and a great teacher. Two hours flew by, it's totally absorbing, and by the end we had all succeeded in making 3 or 4 pots.

We had the best time! Excellent tuition and the studio was warm and comfy with a great (forgiving!) atmosphere. It was such a fun way to spend our Sunday. We'd recommend it to anyone up for getting stuck into clay. Antonia and Nick

Clover's pottery workshop was a fab introduction to the foundations of using a pottery wheel. First she gave us a demonstration of how to attatch the clay to the wheel, how to work the clay and how to gradually shape it. Then we spent the rest of the workshop using these techniques to make our own 3 or 4 pieces of work. It would have been nice to be able to make bigger pieces after we'd had some practice, and the workshop did feel a little bit rushed at some points, but not a problem given it was only 2 hours and we had to leave time at the end for clearing up and choosing a colour for the glaze. Overall I would highly recommend this workshop for anyone wanting to learn the basics of working clay. We had a lot of fun in a really relaxed environment in Clover's studio - thanks again! - Sophie and Val

This workshop was a great introduction. Very friendly atmosphere and our teacher Clover was very clear and methodical. I’ve never done any pottery before so pretty pleased I managed to make 3 pots in the two hour workshop. We got to pick the glazes for our 3 best pots so I’m looking forward to getting the finished product back from the kiln in a couple of weeks!
