My friend booked a ceramics session for a group of us for her birthday. We made a pot and a trinket tray (nut bowl... whatever you want it to be!) Teacher was very friendly and I'm super happy with what we made in 2 hours. Lesson was easy to follow and stress-free. The venue was cosy and relaxing with a great playlist - I will book again.

We had a wonderful time at Cozy Pots! The class runs you through the skills required for hand-building whilst you create quirky, characterful pots. By the end you'll have at least two creations- whether a cup, vase, bowl or plant pot. Yen Yu is a great teacher and helps those present achieve their vision- and she took photos throughout, a nice reminder of the day. The class is held in an interesting building- filled with art and music. Would really recommend!

I learnt how to make pottery step by step which I decided to make a trophy. The teacher was very precise and informative on her teaching but at the same time let me do my own thing. The venue was nice and cosy and was very friendly so it felt like home which makes the class more relaxing and enjoyable.

Such a great class - the teacher is knowledgeable and helpful, the content and organisation of the class is very flexible, the results were very satisfying, all for a reasonable price. We learned two different hand building techniques on two types on clay and I was able to make three items, including one I painted. Highly recommended!

The teacher Yen was friendly and knowledgeable and helped us learn two techniques for making pottery. The studio was cosy and it was great to see work by other students. It was nice to have a small group and we were chatting as well as focusing on our pottery. Thanks so much and look forward to collecting my tea cups and bowl that I made!

Cozy Pots Ceramics workshop was a super introduction to an amazing artistic medium. The spirit of the event - creativity, calm and communal - was only trumped by coming away with a host of great things and learning plenty in the process.

We had a lovely time with Yen Yu at Cozy Pots Creative Studio - in two hours we managed to make two coffee cups, a mug, a plant pot and a vase using a variety of techniques. Yen was very friendly and informative, but also gave us space to be creative rather than dictating what we should make. Two hours flew by and we didn't want to leave!
Manisha - 8 January 2020
Learned how to make 2 containers using two different techniques. Yen is a friendly, patient & knowledgable teacher. The whole vibe in the workshop was super chilled, relaxed & easy like Sunday morning (music included). For me, it was peaceful & meditative. Thoroughly enjoyed it. Can’t wait to collect my works of heart!

I loved it soooo much. The teacher Yen Yu was amazing and super helpful. I learned how to work two different types of ceramics and can’t wait to go pick up the pieces. I went away for holidays but I’m going to join again the first Saturday I’m back. Irene
Denise - 20 November 2019
As my first experience I would recommend it. Yen Yun is a quite, pacific human being; she’s there checking if everything’s okay, helping you and suggesting you how to reach your “final goal” aka your pottery.
Josie - 26 October 2019
Yen Yu was lovely, friendly and relaxed. We settled into making fairly quickly without too much time spent on instructions, which we liked - learn by doing! We learned the basic technique behind making a mug/bowl (though I think you can make anything you like really). For me it was a 2-3hr practice in letting go of what I thought I was making and seeing the beauty of what emerged. All in all, a fun meditative way to spend a few hours with a friend.
Doniya Soni - 30 September 2019

The class was comprehensive, interesting and most importantly fun. I would definitely recommend this class to anyone who is interested in clay pottery.

Super cosy studio with a lovely and helpful Teacher! We bought the 3 sessions and it was great to be able to come back over a series of weeks to work on our tableware pieces. I would highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a more in depth class. It was a chilled out vibe and we had a good amount of freedom to experiment and play. Would definitely go back!
