Nice venue to hold the class in but found the class pretty underwhelming. I donât believe in any of the advent when I booked that it was âcheatsâ calligraphy, I imagined we get given a proper pen and learn how to do it but instead we wrote it out in fine tip pen and coloured in! Not what i expected. The lady running the course was very nice though.

I attended the Christmas Card Calligraphy workshop and it was everything and more than I expected! So professionally done but such a cute and relaxed vibe. Rhian made everything so special with extra touches like chocolates on the table and the lovely set up! I loved it so much I brought my own cards and pens to continue making my own, using the take away sheets which shows us exactly how to write the different letters. Would 100% recommend and will definitely book onto another one of the events in the future :)

I enjoyed the class but struggled with adapting my hand writing.
I will practice using the worksheets provided as I'm sure it will improve.

We really enjoyed our afternoon of calligraphy Christmas cards. The samples provided were inspiring and there were plenty of different pens and cards. I did find that the lighting in The Alchemist made focussing on the calligraphy hard on the eyes and another participant made the same comment (the lighting was bright so there wasnât a problem seeing it was the quality of the light that was uncomfortable). It was a fun afternoon however we shanât be embarking on a career in calligraphy đ¤Ł
