Please bring flip flops, water bottle, towel, swimming costume, comfortable clothing and a notebook and pen.

We'll have some light refreshments throughout the afternoon, but please come having eaten already as a meal is not provided. You'll receive an overview to print-out at the end.

If you have no prior experience with cold exposure, we recommend you finish your showers cold in the days leading up to the workshop. This may be overwhelming at first, but just try to relax, focus on your breath, and bring it into a controlled, steady rhythm.

This workshop is suitable for everyone, but does require a basic level of health. Out of precaution, we advise against participation during pregnancy, or if you are epileptic. People with cardiovascular issues, or any other serious health conditions should always consult a medical professional before starting the Wim Hof Method.

Learn advanced practices of the Wim Hof Method!

Have an incredible breathwork experience! 

In this session, you will learn about the Wim Hof Method Breathing protocol, and get an opportunity to practise it. 

You will learn about the biomechanics and chemistry of breathing as well as how to correctly and safely practise breathwork at home. 

After initial guidance, you will lie down in the beautiful Soma lab, listen to music and breathe along with Heather.

After the breathwork session Heather will guide you on a meditation exercise, followed by an opportunity  to feedback on your experience. 

Finally there is discussion on how to begin a daily breathwork practise with helpful tips on how to start.

Please arrive having eaten, as no food is provided.

Wim Hof Method Breathwork

Have an incredible breathwork experience!   In this session, you will learn about the Wim Hof Method Breathing protocol, and get an opportunity to practise it. 

Heather Gordon Athié is a certified  Level 2 Wim Hof Method Instructor and Yoga  and meditation teacher. She has trained in Poland and in the Netherlands with Wim himself. Having trained in ice bathing over ten weeks, bathed in snow, jumped into icy waterfalls and summited Mount Sněžka in her underwear twice, she knows full well the power of cold meditation.  Heather currently teaches yoga, meditation, and breathwork,  runs healing spaces at festivals and facilitates workshops with people who want to learn more about the Wim Hof Method and its potential health benefits all over the world.

Heather facilitates Cold Therapy, Conscious Healing Breathwork, Meditation, Intuitive Movement, Yoga, Dance, Sister Circles and Sound Healing to support others to live life to their full potential. Her aim is to create space for others to fully and authentically express themselves, and challenge  the inner workings of their mind, body and soul. Heather promotes love, silliness, wellbeing, community, science, connection to nature, caresses, dark chocolate, adventure, wonder, a thirst for life and an intention to change the world for the better.
