An original, interactive and well organised class, which yielded in a generous amount of delicious and varied fermented foods to take home and enjoy. Something completely different to do on a Sunday afternoon and great fun to learn some new recipes that can easily be recreated at home. Adam is an exceptionally approachable teacher with tonnes of additional insights about the benefits of fermented foods. The space (Today Bread, Walthamstow) has a great atmosphere and was a great new discovery in itself.
We learned how to make kimchi, sauerkraut and fermented carrots. Adam, the teacher was confident, considerate and very informative. Venue was great, had everything we needed and there’s lots of parking nearby.

Over the evening we learnt a great deal at a comfortable and enjoyable pace. Adam is an excellent teacher, patient, funny, quick witted – and he demystified ferments and pickles, showing how easy these healthy, probiotic foods are to make. Also it was encouraging to do away with the fancy kits and learn the short cuts. I especially enjoyed the nutritional information too! Thank you Adam and can’t wait for your kombucha class next.

We learnt everything we needed to make kombucha and kefir as well as caring for our scoby.
The venue was very warm and cosy and the teacher informative, passionate and welcoming!
Adam was a great teacher and was very informative. The course included tasting a whole range of kombucha and Kefir drink that he had prepared in advance of the lesson and gave a good base as to what your attempts should come out like after you have given these a go at home. The course included an informative booklet and gave you the scobies / grains required to carry on this hobby at home. All in all a great course which i would highly recommend.
How to make lacto fermented drinks like kombucha, water kefir and dairy kefir. Adam was super knowledge and the class was loads of fun and highly informative. We were given loads of different flavours of kombucha and kefir to drink and fed a delicious light meal of fermented foods. Venue was a great sourdough bakery in walthamstow, bright a friendly.
This class was great fun! With so much mixed information available on the internet it was great having this informative class to simplify and clarify everything.

Very interesting class. Nice small group so quite intimate. The setting was local for me and it leant itself to that class. Adam was very thorough in his approach and explained in detail the process of facto-fermentation. He was thorough when answering the groups questions. He provided lots of samples and tastes of fermented drinks and foods.
The Kombucha and Kefir class run by Adam was great. We were complete beginners, but Adam was lovely and friendly and explained everything really clearly and answered all our questions. It was great to try all the different kombucha and kefir that he had made, he also put on a lovely spread of snacks. I was really grateful to come away with a scoby, water and milk kefir grains to get me started!
Adam's really good at explaining everything and is super patient and open to everyone's input. It was a great class with delicious snacks and a good pace. We immediately got very stuck into making everything and the mix of talking and doing was spot on. The space we were working in was great as well. Overall the class was ace, definitely recommend!
Very informal and relaxed evening which was full of information and plenty of tasters.
Very knowledgable, fun and lots to try! Would thoroughly recommend.
Adam was informative and had great energy , we produced very generous quantities to take home and the kitchens of the bakery was a great choice of location. The kimchi is so delicious.

Great class, fun and informal. Adam is very knowledgable and friendly. Venue really good. It was useful to see, taste and learn about lots of different examples of kombucha and kefir, also being able to take home our own scoby and kefir grains. I'm looking forward to making my own! Thanks!
Venue was easy to find and lovely as it smelt of bread
Teacher, Adam was very informative and had good time keeping. The lesson was interesting and I learnt quite a bit.
Really loved the kombucha workshop - a great way to spend a Sunday afternoon, AND I made a fantastic batch of kombucha of my own the next week. Really pleased with my own kombucha-making skills now and would highly recommend this workshop to anyone who wants to learn more about fermentation.
Great workshop! Learnt the A to Z of Kombucha and got to try an amazing selection of seriously delicious pre-made Kombucha all different flavours. We were all given out our own scoby to take home so i’m now fermenting my own kombucha - just cant wait to try it! Very friendly, knowledgeable teacher, it was a great evening!
We learnt all about Kombucha, Scobies and Kefir, got to taste loads of different flavour Kombucha and even took home our own scobie and kefir culture to make our own at home along with a thorough guide for us to follow.
It was a fun, relaxed setting (the venue was ace) and our teacher Adam was incredibly knowledgeable and super friendly.
Would definitely recommend to anyone interested in kombucha, fermentation or gut health .
Excellent teaching style with easy to follow recipes and lots of goodies to take home. Highly recommended.
The class was a really informative and fun! Adam has excellent knowledge. You get to taste and learn to make a range of delicious ferments and I left feeling confident that I can adapt my own recipes based on what we learnt. I discovered that homemade pickles are far superior to shop bought ones!
Mr Lieber is an expert and charming host. Learnt to ferment two kimchis (one fiery and fishy, one vegan and clean) and a classic red cabbage sauerkraut. All three of which you get to take home in your very own bubbling jar. Come get in a right pickle. And learn to pickle right
