Joyce Connor has been working in the cosmetics industry for over 20 years. She specialise in hair and make up for weddings, fashion, corporate, video and special occasions.  Joyce is based in Berkshire in the South East of England, She caters for all ages and skin tones . Joyce has worked in and around Berkshire, all over the UK and internationally in Cuba, Canada, Greece, France, Italy among others. The fashion brands she has worked with are emerging independent and established brands.  In 2019 Joyce set up a skincare website to help people with their skin. She is also a fully qualified esthetician and loves solving skin issues. 

Joyce regularly speaks on BBC radio and writes about beauty for online blogs and print magazines and newspapers. She is passionate about cosmetic education having completed her training in the U.K., New York and Paris. In 2017 she completed her teacher training and became an educator. Joyce truly believes that education is important to stay up to date in this industry and to educate yourself about all skin types.
Joyce is an inclusive makeup artist and work with all genders.

We offer both Cold Process Soap Making or Melt and Pour Soap Making.
Cold Process Soap Making - This is proper soap making and Involves using oils and a caustic soda solution to make soap with the traditional cold process method - but don´t worry, you will be in expert hands, You'll be guided by the talented soap and candle making expert and award-winning founder of Old Bexley Soap & Candle Co., Paula. She will share all her best tips and tricks for blending, scenting and colouring your natural soap.

There’s nothing more relaxing than discovering something new, working with your hands and bonding in convivial company. You will learn a new skill, experiment with creating you own scents and blends, and will leave with all the soaps you make to take home or gift to their friends and family.

All the soap making supplies are provided for you and brought right to your venue. This includes high vegetable oils and butters and essential oils which you will use to create a signature scent. Most beginner level melt and pour soap workshops merely cover colouring and scenting of soap bases. At Go Create we’ve created an extreme version: to push melt and pour to its limits. We’ll cover melt and pour from all angles to ensure you have a good understanding of soap making basics and how to exploit melt and pour to its potential.  During the workshop you’ll make at least 10 soap samples which each cover  a different creative technique. But be warned, some may look and smell too good to use.
