Ballet is not only a beautiful art form and a powerful means of expression, it also has many benefits that include toning the whole body, strengthening and lengthening muscles, increasing memory, balance, core stability and flexibility and improving co-ordination. Ballet For You has a range of adult ballet classes that will bring all of these fantastic benefits to students of all abilities. This beginner's class (level two) is for those who have completed the level one course or have some recent basic ballet training. By the end of the course, participants will have progressed to more challenging sequences using a wider range of steps. Classes are led by one of two instructors. Serena Cundari trained at the National Theatre Ballet School in Melbourne, Australia, and performed as a professional dancer for over 13 years. Louise Blair trained at both the Edinburgh Dance Centre and The Urdang Academy and has danced professionally for many years, credits including both live performance and commercial work.

About your host, Ballet For You
Ballet For You offer ballet courses for adult beginners, improvers and returning dancers. There are classes covering 4 levels of beginners, 3 levels of improvers and 2 levels of advance, meaning there is a class available for people of all abilities. Other classes include ballet floor-barre, pointe, repertoire, men’s class and pas de deux. ballet For You also offer workshops throughout the year including progressing ballet technique and Easter/Summer programmes.
