Loved this class! A brilliant way to keep up your drawing skills during lockdown, Alice got us doing loads of different drawing exercises to think differently about perspective - particularly liked the audience participation and use of yoga poses!
CharlotteThis was a wonderful class! At the beginning, Alice talked about the aim of the session being to experience 'flow', a state we all want to get to. And her inspired exercises really did get me there! I got an insight into a way of making art that I had not had before. She also made us all feel simultaneously relaxed and excited to have a go. KatThis is an amazing class! Alice is so knowledgeable and encouraging and really made us look at ourselves and think about our human form in a completely different way. Using senses other than direct sight, for eg imaginary sight, but also touch, and the sensations of feel, which included representing the sensations of stretching and bending. Truly inspirational and I left it with a new understanding of drawing and a thirst to learn more.

JohnI am a complete artistic amature and I really enjoyed the poses and the activities. I've always struggled with drawing and Alice's class changed how I thought about the process, and gave me some interesting new perspectives to experiment with. Great activity to do with friends as anyone from beginners to experienced artists will get a lot out of it.

FreyaI found the session really liberating. I tend to get a bit irritable usually just sitting in life drawing so it was soooo nice to move around. I absolutely loved drawing the position IN the position. It totally changed how I drew. Its like I became the pencil! So cool! I loved the emphasis on feeling your weight and pressure on the floor and being invited to interpret it as abstract or literal. The skeleton proportion exercise at the start really helped too. I remembered the elements as I was working. Very nice to be working on the floor too. Alice is a really reassuring tutor. And it was loads of fun!
