Sophie's hand tied bouquet class is about creating a really stunning natural arrangement using seasonal blooms, learning some really useful repeatable skills and having fun while you are doing it! 

Sophie's style is very inspired by the natural world so expect a beautiful selection of seasonal flowers and foliage to play with. The experience will be very focused on experimentation and Sophie will give expert advice on how to arrange the material for the most knock out results!

You can also expect to learn handy floristry skills which you can keep on using at home! You will learn how to condition flowers and foliage to maximise their lifespan, how to choose material and also how to arrange everything perfectly using the spiral technique etc. 

Sophie's class is a really fun and relaxing introduction to floristry where no experience is needed but you will also go home with some great new knowledge (as well as with a beautiful arrangement of your own making)!

In this class you will make a simply beautiful fresh cut flower wedding bouquet and four buttonhole/corsages. You'll learn lots along the way and create an exceptional and professional standard wedding flower set.

To kick off our workshops after everyone’s long period of lockdown we will be bringing you an exciting new program of floristry workshops based around the work and colour palettes of some of our favourite artists.

This session will focus on Frida Kahlo and take inspiration from some of his famously bold colour choices. Perfect for kick starting spring and dusting off some of those lockdown blues.

You will make a head crown during this class by crafting a wire structure and then decorating it with a beautiful arrangement of dried flowers to really make it stand out. These are great fun items for lots of different occasions!

DRIED WREATH MAKING WORKSHOP

The Christmas wreath making workshop is about creating a unique and beautiful wreath (large size) from scratch using only dried material, learning some really useful repeatable skills and having fun while you are doing it! :)

We will be learning together in a beautiful large space, perfect for maintaining social distance and learning at the same time.

Roseur's style is very inspired by the natural world so expect a beautiful selection of material to play with. The experience will be very focused on experimentation and we will give expert advice on how to arrange the material for the most knock out results!

You can expect to learn an easy way to make your own Christmas wreath! This will include learning how to wire a variety of materials and join them together perfectly. But most importantly you will get to play with an amazing selection of natural dried flowers, and really create that perfect seasonal decoration.

CHRISTMAS WREATH MAKING WORKSHOP

Lovely warm atmosphere, Sophie was very welcoming and friendly.  Lots of material to choose from, and expert guidance!  Would recommend :)

Sophie is a florist based in London with a natural style emphasising movement, form and seasonal plants and flowers. Her style references nature heavily, showing the same respect to foliage as to standout flowers. Sophie has a background in sculpture and fine art which informs a lot of her current practice with flowers.

Having tutored art students in the past Sophie has brought this experience to floristry, creating engaging classes covering  the basis of traditional practical techniques fused with her own personal style. Guests will learn important key skills and arrangement theory and then be encouraged to have fun with their own creations :)
