La Cucina Caldesi

Working with a variety of sustainably sourced fish and shellfish you’ll be shown how to source the best quality and what to look out for when buying fish.
 
Then it’s time to brush up on your knife skills and learn everything from descaling to pin-boning... and beyond. You’ll be shown how to fillet all shapes of fish then prepare and cook some delicious Italian recipes that are bound to impress your family and friends and will make welcome additions to your culinary repertoire.
 
After a morning of cookery you’ll then sit down as a team to enjoy your dishes with a glass of wine as dinner.

Class sizes are kept to just 12 places to guarantee social distancing, book early to avoid disappointment!

Learn to cook like a true Italian with expert teachers at our cookery school in our ‘little corner of Italy in Marylebone’ or at our schools at Caldesi in Campagna in Bray, Caldesi’s Kitchen in Gerrard’s Cross or via Zoom.

More than 20 years ago, Giancarlo and Katie taught friends and guests how to make fresh pasta in their restaurant on a Sunday.  It proved so popular they established La Cucina Caldesi, a purpose-built cookery school open 7 days a week and have since been running their 2 restaurants, the cookery schools and have written over 15 cookbooks.

We now run regional Italian cookery courses ranging from fresh pasta making through to mastering the art of creating the perfect risotto, from cooking with fish and shellfish to making the most of the Italian vegetable garden and beyond.  We also offer a range of courses focussing on low-carb and gluten free eating and from time to time run courses exploring other international cuisines.

Select from our day or evening cookery classes or arrange your own bespoke individual or group event.  Our venue is also available for private dining or dry hire.
