Somatic Breathwork™ is a full embodiment experience designed to help you release stress, trauma, emotions, and pent-up energy from the body. It is a modality that utilizes your own breath to help shed the layers of yourself that no longer serve.

Somatic Breathwork™ uses a circular diaphragmatic breath to tap into your body's innate inner intelligence to find the areas that need clearing. Coupling the breath with immersive music may result in different forms of cathartic emotional releases such as laughing, moving, crying, yelling, and shaking. All forms of expression are encouraged because it allows the body to move any stuck energy and create space for the second half of the breathwork session.

A gentler breathing technique is used in the second half of the session to help you connect with who you truly are. Together we can use the breath to call in how you want to show up in the world, the changes you want to embody, and allow you to see clearly what it would be like to live your best life.

Please allow 80 minutes for the following:
* 		15 minutes for Intake and overview of the Somatic Breathwork™ session
* 		50 minutes for Somatic Breathwork™ session
* 		15 minutes for Integration and sharing

It is best to find a quiet space where you will not be disturbed for the entirety of the session.

This is an experience done while lying down so please create a comfortable place on the ground utilizing a yoga mat and/or folded blanket so you are comfortable and have enough space to lay down and freely move around. It is not recommended to use any bolsters or pillows to allow for full range of motion during the session (unless pain or injury requires them).

I recommend having a quality set of headphones or speakers that will allow you to be immersed in the music.

It is best to dress comfortably and remove any loose clothing or jewelry that may hinder your ability to freely move around during the session. Think Yoga attire.

It is also good to have a bottle of water and something to journal with for after the session. It is best to refrain from eating 1-2 hours prior to the session.

I acknowledge that Somatic Breathwork™ is a deep and powerful process. I have notified the practitioners of any physical injuries, mental or psychological conditions I have. I engage in this experience willingly and take full responsibility for my own physical, mental and emotional experiences during and after the session.

Contraindications-
Somatic Breathwork™ is intended as a personal growth experience and should not be looked upon as a substitute for psychotherapy. It is not appropriate for pregnant women, for persons with cardiovascular problems, including angina or heart attack, high blood pressure, glaucoma, retinal detachment, osteoporosis, history of seizures, stroke, major psychiatric conditions, recent surgery, acute infectious illness or epilepsy. If you have any doubt about whether you should participate, please consult with your primary care physician. Persons with asthma should bring their inhaler and consult with their primary care physician.

Release -
I hereby undergo of my own free will a Somatic Breathwork™ session and acknowledge and understand that I am in full control and may terminate the session at any time. I recognize that Somatic Breathwork™ can bring up intense emotions as well as physical releases that can be challenging and uncomfortable. I understand that every session is individual and different for each person that participates and release expectations of any specific outcome. I or my representative(s) agree to full release and hold Adam Carbary Somatic Breathwork™ Practitioner harmless from and against any and all claims or liability of whatsoever kind or nature arising out of or in connection with my session(s). 

I hereby confirm that I have read and understood the above information and attest that my general health is good to participate.

A 80-minute Somatic Breathwork™ journey to support you in releasing any suppressed emotions and cultivate more clarity in your life.

This session is a 90-minute, personalized breathwork journey to support you in releasing blocks and stepping into new amounts of clarity. We will be practicing Somatic Breathwork™ in our session together, and you will be guided and held throughout the entire experience.

The first half of the breathwork journey will be all about release - beliefs, emotions, and energy that is no longer in service to your vision (whether you are aware of it or not), and the second half of our breathwork journey will be focused on calling in more of what you desire to feel and have in your life - if you are not sure on that, this time will bring you clarity on what that is.

You will be guided through the entire experience and taught the breath techniques. No previous experience needed.
