Floral Merchant London is the creation of set designer Hayley McDonald: finding her way to botanical design through a background of interior and prop styling for film and advertising. Hayley’s work combines her love of the natural world and interior styling. Her designs focus on bringing the outside environment inside the home, in a way that is original, stylish and interior design focused.

During the workshops, Hayley will be sharing her industry styling tips on how to bring the outside, inside.

Our botanical workshops provide an opportunity to learn a new skill and get close to nature in an experience that is both playful and relaxing. Hayley is passionate about helping you tap into your creativity and find your inner green fingers!

Tune into nature with the relaxing art of terrarium making and make your own miniature garden under glass transforming your cactus and succulent plants into beautiful terrariums. 

These gorgeous terrariums mimic the landscape of beautiful arid desert plains. Get ready for a wonderful display of cacti and succulents!

You will receive all the materials you need to create your  terrarium including  access to our step by step video tutorial. All you need to do is add some mini cactus or succulent plants. 

These terrariums need minimal maintenance and are a breeze to care for! 

Terrariums are a hot trend in interior design and they provide a beautiful stylish centre piece and an element of nature in your home. They are sure to bring you great joy as you watch your miniature world grow, never mind how much fun they are to make!!

The kit contains a glass vessel, tools, stones, soil and some decorative elements such as moss and driftwood.  We do not provide the plants, but we recommend a maximum of three small 3cm pot size cacti or succulents.
You will be guided through a step by step process of how to build your terrarium. Then you can let your creativity go wild as you put your own individual flair into your design.

Lastly you will learn plant care and maintenance tips to keep your new miniature desert happy and thriving!
