The class starts with a talk where you will learn everything from the history of sushi making to the modern trends.

During this sushi making class you will learn the following:

- Preparing the rice
- Preparing raw ingredients
- Preparing cooked ingredients
- Making batter
- Making prawn
- Making perfect Maki

Alternatively Vegetable Maki or any ingredients you prepared.

Ideally if you could prepare some ingredients and equipment before the class.  So you can make while watching me. We can point out what you are doing well and what need to improve.

Equipment:
- Sushi Mat (We can post to you)
- Sushi knife (a long knife will do)
- Single use Kitchen Glove
- Chopping Board
- Cling Film

Ingredients
- Sushi nori (We can post it to you)
- Veg Oil
- Sesame Seeds (We can post it to you)
- Seafood Stick
- Avocado
- Ready to use tempura prawn (or raw prawn, egg, breadcrumb/wheat flour batter)
- Cooked Rice (Otherwise We can teach you to cook rice first)
- Any other ingredients you prefer to wrap into sushi
- Soy sauce, wasabi paste, or ginger as you like

At the end of the class you will be able to eat your sushi or watch us eating the sushi. Sorry.... It is not possible to pass to you via the Internet. 

We will try to make it fun. It is lot different between watching me and try it yourself. Strongly suggests to prepare some ingredients and make some while we are talking.

Very nice class, with a lot of explanations about the traditional way of making sushi and the quality of fish that should be used. I learnt a lot, and the teachers were very kind and patient! It's a bit slow if you aren't really a full beginner, since they focus on very basic sushi, but it was still really good and enjoyable!

Oriental Food is a small shop selling cooking ingredients mainly focused on Chinese, Japanese and Korean.

For a while, the couple found out some cooking books misunderstand or not clear explained lots ingredients. It made customers confused. The couple started to cook dishes and sell in the shop. All ingredients are used from their shop. All dishes are followed authentic tastes. If customers like the dish, they will show them what have been used. The couple enjoy to share their cooking skills with customers.
As the dishes get popular, they started selling fresh prepared bentos in Oriental Food. Now they are also doing local delivery and you can find them on UberEats. 
More and more people come to ask how to cook the dishes. Here comes the cooking classes. Customers can learn how to make the most popular bentos in Oriental Food now. The owner couple are lovely to talk with. They share their authentic cooking techniques as well as modern trends. So you can make a perfect Chinese, Japanese and Korean food too.
