There’s nothing like a good stamp after a hard week!

Led by professional Flamenco dancer and teacher - Ana Garcia , this exciting workshop is aimed at Beginners wanting to learn the basics of this passionate and fiery Spanish dance form.

During this workshop, you will learn basic rhythms, posture, footwork, hand and arm movements including styling & expression. By the end of our workshop you will be able to dance a piece of fiery foot- stamping Flamenco choreography!

Things to remember

What to wear: A Cuban heel shoe or boots not higher than 2”. No flat shoes, trainers or stiletto shoes.

Loose flowing dress or skirt ideally - shirt/Vest / leggings.

I really enjoyed the Flamenco Workshop and hope there'll be many more. Everything was explained and demonstrated well. I loved learning the steps/beats and especially liked doing the beautiful arm and hand movements. Highly recommend!

I love flamenco and thought it would be great to get a taste of the dance style locally as there are no classes in Shrewsbury area. The session was good and I found the different sections did come together in the end however, I did think we were still learning when the session suddenly ended; it would've been good to end with a loud musical tune to do our complete routine to feel like I'd achieved something and as a proper fin-Olè ;)
