Angelina Jandolo Dance School regularly teaches adult dance classes in London, currently giving weekly term-time classes in the South East of the city. Beginner, intermediate and advance levels are currently available as well as pointe lessons, in locations including Greenwich, Blackheath, Crystal Palace, Dulwich, Eltham and Shoreditch.

Each of our friendly and enthusiastic ballet teachers have trained professionally in internationally renowned conservatoires going on to perform at national and international levels. The classes are syllabus-free, but every year we offer the opportunity to take exams through the globally-recognised IDTA for those who wish.

We keep the lessons at a sustained pace – you’ll get a workout as well as learning ballet techniques. Classes are built to help students progress, but are challenging too: students will learn and grow as dancers while keeping fit and social.

Intermediate Ballet Dance

Each week you'll learn sequences that include all the iconic Charleston steps and finish with a bouncy routine that'll make your feet swivel, your chest shimmy and your belly laugh :)  This  dance style will lift your mood and turn you into a dancer!

The 'I Can Charleston' class is open level and mixed dance ability but naturally includes many participants who have been coming to the class for a number of years. The format of the class always includes time to practice swivel technique in your basic step .

Several times a month (usually every other week) this Intensive Workshops, become Super Intensive. So we dance during 4 hours, starting with Cuban Son from 5pm to 6pm, followed by Cuban Salsa from 6pm to 9pm. Both, suitable for all levels too.

What is Son? Son Cubano is a captivating genre of music and dance that emerged in Cuba during the late 19th century. Is a beautiful fusion with Spanish and African influences and is considered the father of Salsa. The clave rhythm, often considered the heartbeat of Son Cubano, serves as its guiding force. One of the steps to become an advanced and beautiful dancer is learning how to dance Cuban Son as it will give you a a better understanding about music and timing and you will improve your body posture and overall style and music interpretation.

The Charleston was THE  dance craze of the 1920’s and is  a popular favourite on Strictly Come Dancing . The style is fun, energetic and great for lifting your mood . You need't have dance experience to enjoy this class . Just the will to have a go !

During  our taster class you will be introduced to the following

The basic Charleston step: 'Jay Bird'
How to 'Swivel' your feet during your basic step
A selection of classic solo Charleston moves and gestures
A bouncy routine  that will link your newfound moves together :)

Dancing the Charleston is addictive, uplifting and fun! It will lift your mood, give you a good cardio workout  and develop your dance ability and musicality.
Following this taster session you have the option to enrol on a 4- week course that will expand your bank of Charleston dance moves and your swivel skill!  The course starts Thursday 14th November.

After the beginners course you are very welcome to join our regular I Can Charleston Class which is an open level class on a Thursday evening , 7.30 - 8.30 pm. In this class you will advance your repertoire of Charleston steps and work on routines which are often performed to the public at events :) 

Wednesday Addams' spirited dance was choreographed by 'Wednesday' actress  'Jenna Ortega', with echoes to Bob Fosse, Siouxsie Sioux and ’80s goth dance clubs   - as well as  The Addams Family” TV series from the ’60s :)

Expect a distinctly gothic evening full of Wednesday dance vibes !
