2 hour workshop
The ultimate sewing bee! (2hours)
Come along and join other sewing enthusiasts for an morning, afternoon or whole day of clothing alterations, customising and mending!
Our expert tutors will assist you in your project, guiding you on the best way to alter your garments..... or if you want to... just zhoosh them up a little!
Maybe you would like to replace a broken zipper, take something up or even combine two garments together!
Or if you have a special project you would like to work on, using our studio space, cutting table and machinery, then this is the workshop for you.
Although we do welcome novice sewers, this workshop is aimed at people that know how to use a sewing machine, and have a basic knowledge of garments. It is advisable if you have not used a sewing machine before, to attend our Introduction to sewing workshop first.
You will need to bring along any extra fabrics, trims and fastenings that you will need to complete your projects.
Altering knitwear / jumpers is not suitable for this workshop.
Please allow unpicking time for your project.
Please note: This is a guided workshop, rather a structured taught lesson. We do not do sewing demonstrations in these sessions.
If you are looking for specific taught / demonstrated techniques, then one of our other workshops would be more suitable, or 1-2-1 tuition.
We ensure quality. If your class doesn't reach your expectations, we'll give your money back.
