Yes Erika was very warm and welcoming! She took the time to explain things and was very throughout in her teaching. When I almost broke one of my jewellery pieces, she helped me to save and revive it. The result? I now have amazing beautiful jewellery I wear all the time. Thank you Erika! Catrina

It was such a fun afternoon spent with Erika. Loved it! The studio is shared by multiple artists but we had our dedicated area. We were a small group of only two people it felt really hands-on and we had a lot of attention from Erika and her help throughout the class. First, we made basic jewellery shapes from both black and white clay, then let it dry a little and applied multiple glazes, which were then fired in a kiln - so I was able to pick up the ready products a couple of days later. Erika even kindly fitted them all with earring hooks and rings. I would recommend it to everyone interested in pottery, jewellery making or general crafts. What's even better, I now have a bank of pieces that I can either wear myself or give as presents to friends.

Erika was lovely and very skilled in porcelain making. Really enjoyable workshop and very happy with the pieces made. It's accessible for beginners and yet quite creative as well. Only took one star off due to some miscommunications around dates and timings.

Super fun class, Erika is really nice and welcoming and highly skilled. Also the studio space is great, surrounded by all sorts of beautiful pieces either in process or finished. I found the combo of jewelry with porcelin and glazing very original and made some beautiful one of a kind pieces to take home and wear (might gift some to friends/fam). Would recommend :)

The workshop was amazing and it's great that you get to make so many pieces of jewellery! I would maybe say the teacher could have slightly more patience with people trying to get through the different steps in time and if they need to ask extra questions. Overall woild highly recommend and the teacher was lovely.

Erika is a super talented porcelain expert and was incredibly patient with us while we made several pieces of jewellery from freshly rolled out material. Anyone who has done any metal clay will be familiar with the principles but porcelain is much easier to tidy up , which was lovely. Erika will be firing our pieces (which takes a whopping 24 hours) and adding the findings, and I can't wait to see the finished results.

The porcelain jewellery workshop was great fun. I enjoyed making the various shapes for earrings and pendants. It was a delicate procedure but Erika was happy to help and advise. I was amazed at how the powder colour transforms into the most beautiful gloss finish after firing. The finished products are beautiful.

I have known Erika for a couple of years now and I am a big fan of her work, so I was very excited when she announced the workshop. Erika is very patient, friendly and informative. I am a total newbie when it comes to ceramics and she answered all of my questions in detail. I absolutely recommend Erika Albrecht Ceramics's classes to anyone who is serious about learning something new in ceramics, but even to people who occasionally just want to spend a quiet night away from their computers and mobile phones, in a nice atmosphere doing something creative and different. This experience was a true blessing for me personally.
