I have been making pots for over 12 years, mostly decorative vessels but also purely functional pots and more sculptural pieces.
Prior to ceramics, I worked in science and engineering, and have brought that technical and analytical approach over into my ceramics and teaching.
I found that there were many potters looking for a stronger technical foundation to help master their craft, and my courses concentrate on providing this, rather than the creative or decorative aspects.
