DinhDid an ikebana class with my wife for our 4th wedding anniversary (fruit and flowers) and we loved it! The class was very informative on the traditional flower arrangement style and customs and Japan. We got to make two different arrangements (one traditional and one modern) and the whole time the instructor was helpful and encouraging. The lesson had so many different dried and fresh flowers for us to work with! It really helped feel more creative with so many different options for base the arrangements around. At the end we got to keep a bowl, holder, and high bushel of grease flowers to take home. We tried out ikebana at home for a few days with all the extra flowers we got. I highly recommend it for anyone wanting to learn about ikebana or just looking for a new creative outlet. A most for wedding anniversaries!

Khin and his team were informative and came round helping us to complete our crowns with lots of choice of beautiful colourful flowers. We had help fixing our crowns in place so we could keep them on throughout our day.....we had many admirers as we walked around London. Great group activity and we had a little photo shoot outside.

Khin talked us through Columbia Road Flower Market, he was always ready to answer questions and was so charming, friendly and knowledgable. We then went back to his studio where he had a fabulous choice of flowers for us to create a seasonal hand tied bouquet. He showed us step by step what to do and we all went home with a stunning bouquet having had plenty of support from Khin and his team to create it. He also recommend a great local coffee shop and a fantastic local Vietnamese restaurant. We had such a great time, it was so much fun and the pace was just perfect. Relaxed but we also learnt some great tips and techniques. Still smiling the next day! Thank you Khin!

So knowledgeable and encouraging, providing a beautiful selection of flowers - even I, with very little creative flair, was able to create a wonderful bouquet! Thank you all for the experience.
Helen CharlwoodWhat a lovely birthday present I was given, an afternoon with the Flower Factory, learning all about Ikebana floral artistry. We were given a history and had a comprehensive demonstration before being able to have a go ourselves, coming home with a pot and frog and of course beautiful flowers. We were made so welcome and Kim and his team went over and above to ensure we had a good afternoon. One thing to note for next time, would be perhaps to make the workshop 21/2 - 3 hours long so there is enough room for the history, the demonstration and then our own work. I loved my afternoon such a treat.

FYesterday morning I was at the New Covent Garden Flower Market for the flower bouquet workshop and I was the only one. The others cancelled it. It was really nice that Khin was still doing it and taking the time to show me around. I learned about the market, a lot about flower prep work and how to do a bouquet.

I thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of the workshops - the guided walking tour, learning the craft of flower arranging and having a go ourselves, chatting with Khin and of course bringing home a beautiful bouquet you designed each to take home. I came into the workshop with very little knowledge and this experience has definitely inspired me to add more florals to my home (or even creating my own to gift!). I thoroughly recommend this workshop - it will not dissapoint!

We all made natural-looking bouquets with sweet peas as the main flower which I was very pleased with. The flower studio is very small so if you have any concerns about being in close contact with people I would suggest that this is not the class for you.

I was really impressed by his knowledge of floristry. The workshop itself was excellent. Khin allows you to express yourself individually while guiding you through the process which means you genuinely walk away with learnings. I will definitely look to do another session. I would recommend this workshop to anyone who is looking to dip their toe in floristry.

Georgina SpencerHad a great Saturday morning touring around the flower market and getting "insider tips" from Khin. He was very flexible and gave us the freedom to have a look around ourselves too. After the market we made our way to his beautiful studio where he had prepared all the flowers for us in advance and gave us lots of tips on how to arrange our hand-tied bouquet and how to care for the arrangement afterwards. Overall I would highly recommend this course with Khin as he's an extremely friendly and knowledgeable guy!

It was interesting to visit the flower market and to get some background knowledge on the workings of the market; what to look for when selecting flowers and expert knowledge on the variety of flowers that are on offer. I found the flower arranging session very helpful too, the tips and tricks were very valuable. The teacher, Chin, was very friendly, approachable and inspirational. This is a fantastic course for beginners, particularly those thinking of entering the world of floristry.

KellyAn excellent class - Khin was a really enthusiastic yet patient teacher, and I learned so much. It was v interesting hearing about his personal journey into floristry, and he gave a great tour of the flower market, which I will definitely be returning to using his tips! I thought the class was on the expensive side when I booked it, but having done the class I would say it is 100% worth it - you make a bouquet that you would easily pay £30 - £40 for in a florist and there are three hours of tuition. Such a great way to spend a Saturday morning!
