They say breakfast is the most important meal of the day, why not enjoy your breakfast out of your handmade Common Ground set? With this course, we hope each piece will bring you joy and help you start your day out right! During this one-off class, students will learn the basics of hand-building and go home with 2 pieces. 

In this two hour workshop, you will be guided through the pinch pot and coiling technique to make your breakfast set. 

This is a great introduction to hand-building with clay and is just enough time to gain an understanding of the material and make something you’ll be really proud of.

**What’s to Hand:**

- You will be provided with clay for your set. 

- You’ll be guided through the techniques.

Once you have your shape ‘down to a T’ it's time to let your creativity run free!

To ensure a relaxing and rewarding experience for all, the classes are kept to a minimum, 10 people per class.

After the session, you will leave your pieces at the studio and they will be processed for you i.e glaze and fire in their kiln. Yout pieces will be dipped in a beautiful snow-white glaze. They should take about 3-4 weeks to process and you will be notified when they being shipped.

The Common Ground Collective is currently a portable studio which makes an appearance at shops, cafes, schools, supported living housing and more. With emphasis on therapeutic processes and inclusion within marginalised communities, they  practice thoughtful and expressive arts to promote both physical and mental well-being.
