Hannah was a creative but shy child with a passion for singing. With her teenage years spent scribbling lyrics and belting out songs around the house, she made no connection between the joy of singing and the stuffy school music room. She had no idea that the voice was an instrument that you could develop, or even make a living from!
Having had major surgery on her spine as a young adult, she had the epiphany that she was going to follow her dream of singing, no excuses allowed. She enrolled on every musicianship course she could, whilst supporting herself with a full time day job.
Soon other students were asking for advice and a passion for teaching came into focus, loving watching others blossom. Whilst developing her own voice, Hannah spent the following six years learning vocal technique and developing her teaching skills. She studied the (fascinating!) science behind the voice at the Royal Academy of Music, and set up her own vocal studio in Kentish Town.
Hannah considers it a personal mission to let you know that it’s never too late to learn to sing! Whatever your singing goals, whether you’re a complete beginner or a professional, she will be rooting for you every step of the way.
