It was a fun class, but only if you’ve danced before. It’s not for a complete beginner. They are teaching you the basics and some other steps, it’s too much for only one hour.
It’s a good class if you already know the basic steps.
Another thing, there were 4 classes at the same time going in the same room, the music starts at the same time so you can hear both the salsa & bachata song. There are no mirrors in the place.
Great fun and energy
It was really awful, totally overcrowded and overbooked, we were packed into a narrow walkway by the bar and not a spacious room as shown in the photos. I wasn’t able to see the steps or hand movements at all so when it came to dancing closer to the dance teacher, I got criticised non stop by both my lead who I was extremely uncomfortable dancing with and the dance teacher so ended up leaving the class only 30 minutes in. I’ve danced salsa at other places and never felt so uncomfortable and disheartened going to a lesson before. I had booked a 2 hour session and could not take a minute more. Additionally there is nowhere safe to leave your coats and bags. Such a stressful experience. Classes should not be so full you can nearly move, hear or see anything, especially at beginner level.
