The workshop was a perfect blend of education, creativity, and fun. I attended it with a workmate and both had an amazing experience that kept us talking about it throughout the working week. Paula is such a knowledgeable, engaging, and enthusiastic instructor! She's well equipped with a huge variety of high-quality oils and individual equipment for each participant, ready for a hands-on learning experience. I was so happy with the final reed diffuser I made for myself! It looks so elegant and beautiful! And it smells like heaven! One of the extended rewards of this workshop is that every time I get home it smells amazing! I would highly recommend Paula's workshop to anyone looking to do something creative while having fun and learning something new. Everything I needed and wanted to know was covered from making a candle, burn testing, best suppliers, compliance with legislation, marketing etc etc. Nothing was too much for Paula , she was very patient, extremely knowledgeable and warm, all in a lovely conducive environment. The finish time was not stipulated which was great as I did not feel under pressure and plan to complete the diffuser course also. All in all, the course was invaluable and would highly recommend for anyone who is serious about undertaking a candle making business.

She had us all at our own little work stations with mixing bowls, blenders and safety wear blending our soap from scratch, even did the lye blend and after that was done we mixed our own fragrances to the soap and it came out beautiful! So pleased with this course, I will be back for more as I feel we learn everything better by doing it ourselves . I have been on other courses where the teachers pre blend the lye and fragrance and that was not to my satisfaction as I want to learn the skill! Paula is the place to go to if someone want to learn this for a hobby or a business. It was really clean, tidy and organised with lots of refreshments from fabulous Rosa, which I highly appreciated Thanks again! See you soon.

However, doing the compliance course with Paula was like getting everything on a platter. You will feel confident enough to execute the various steps required quickly. Making these creations in person meant we were able to problem solve in real time. It allowed us to focus on attention to detail, digest and put into practice the valuable instructions Paula shared. This was not the same when I did an online course somewhere else. I left the course on a high, ordered as much as possible to start honing my skills.
