Your teacher, Naila, will share her drawing experiences with you during this drawing session.

The class is designed to help take away your fears and experience bold and brave expressive lines. 

Naila will begin the class with an introduction and go through each step: 

- Observing the object for a couple of minutes 
- Imaginative Drawing in the air by observing object
- Blind drawing from the memory
- Blind drawing of shapes with continuous lines 
- One continuous line drawing of the object you familiar with
- Overlapping lines to create a texture

Naila is a talented and delightful teacher who combines the right level of instruction and time to practice. I learnt so much from the one hour session and am already more confident and will definitely be going back for more 

Before painting we will be doing warming up sketches and etudes. After lots of thumbnail compositional drawings we will choose favourite one to paint. 
We will be exploring colour pallet making a caterpillar colour shades then after will  using that tones to start the first painting steps. 
During painting we will be also looking at world famous artist works depending similarities with subject and composition related to our themes. 
In 2 hours painting session we will be completing the work and taking it home.

Painting with Naila Hazell

Naila Hazell was born in 1981 and grew up in Baku, Azerbaijan. She is a British contemporary artist working in London. She was taught by renowned Soviet social realism painter Boyukagha Mirzezade while studying fine arts and getting her MA at the  Azerbaijani Fine Arts Academy. 

Naila has had numerous solo and group shows in Baku and now she is continuing her work and exhibiting in London.

She's a qualified Art teacher with more than 8 years working experiences and has worked in schools and private studios and gained a strong experiences .

Overall, enthusiastic and creative teacher who always wants to inspire and improve her students skills!
