Mark aims to give his students a good understanding of camera technique - all those f-stops and shutter speeds, focal lengths, and film/digital formats explained.

His classes can be tailored to whatever subject matter interests you the most. He covers most genres including architectural, documentary, fashion, portrait, and still life.  Mark teaches basic theory, and suggests actual shoot projects for you to undertake. He also covers post production techniques for those with digital cameras.

Based in London, Mark is an award-winning professional photographer with over 20 years experience of working with some of the world's most prestigious publications and corporate clients. His photography has also been exhibited at art fairs and galleries in the UK and Europe.

New to Obby, but with extensive experience in tutoring students keen to learn about all aspects of photography - including camera operation,  image composition,  colour awareness, and understanding light. Mark offers one-to-one private tuition, which can be home/office based according to your requirements.  He also offers group tuition up to a maximum of 4 students. Location-based workshops are also available in Interiors Photography, and Photojournalism/ Street Photography.
