Learn how to make your own unique pair of shoes in our One-Day Shoe Making workshop!

These classes offer an unique experience to create your own pair of stunning bespoke shoes in our signature style, by up-cycling vintage Japanese kimono fabrics. No previous experience required as you will be expertly guided through each stage by designer Hetty!

You can choose from 4 different shoe styles to make which include a slingback, a flat ballet, heeled sandal and a mule, you will decide before the session and choose the fabric for your unique shoes. The course is based in Maidstone, Kent running from 10am-5pm, tea and coffee provided.

People can go on to make more shoes with their new basic shoe making knowledge. Hetty can provide supplier information so you can practice making your own shoes at home with the correct components, tools and materials.

Shoe Making One Day Workshop

Our one-day class offers an unique experience to create your own pair of stunning shoes in our signature style!

Join us for our brand new class where you can make a pair of sweet little baby shoes suitable for a new baby (sizes are for newborn or crawling/6 months). It is the perfect gift for a new mum or if you want to make something for a special new baby in the family. 
Students will learn how to use patterns to cut the shoes in their chosen fabric, we'll use a buttery soft leather lining and sole and you will be shown how to sew the pieces together to make the sweetest little pair of baby shoes in our signature vintage kimono fabric prints. 
It is a fun morning and you'll take your little creations home in a special hand stamped logo box.

We will video call before the course to go through all the details, shoe style, heel height, fabrics and colours. You will also send your foot measurements prior to the course.

Which shoe size do you take?

Hetty Rose is the creater behind the brand. She has been making shoes for over ten years and loves to create and teach this special craft. 

Hetty graduated from the London College of Fashion with a degree in Footwear Design & Development (Cordwainers). Hetty has worked in London and Italy for handmade shoe companies & set up her company in 2007.

After being selected to exhibit at London Fashion Week in her first season Hetty has gone on to feature in many publications including Vogue, Elle & on television.

Hetty hand makes bespoke shoes and also teaches shoe making workshops where you can learn to make your very own pair of unique shoes.
