 Vicky Hinds is the founder and owner of Half Hitch Happy.

Macramé is what sparks joy for her and in particular sharing her knowledge of Macramé and making it accessible and easy to follow for everyone.

As a Macramé teacher for the past 3 years, she sees how much joy, comfort and inspiration it gives people to complete a project in a couple of hours and proudly hang it on their wall! It quite literally lifts them up one knot at a time!

Half Hitch Happy

As a Macramé Teacher for over 3 years, my students keep asking for a kit they can take home to replicate the Macramé Plant Hanger we make it class...well here it is!

I have used my teaching expertise and experience to create this easy to follow, step by step Macramé Plant Hanger Kit, which you will complete and have it proudly hanging on your wall in no time!

The kit includes...

* 24 meters of 3mm braided cotton macramé cord, already cut to size and mounted on a wooden ring with a wrap knot (you will learn this knot too, so you won't miss out!) I have done the boring bit for you, which is measuring and cutting the cord, so you can just get on and knot!

* a choice of 4 striking colours of soft and pleasant to use macramé cord

* an S hook to hang your wooden ring on, whilst you are working on your plant hanger

* clear and easy to follow written instructions, with plant hanger pattern and pictorial knots guides for the 3 knots you will need to make the
plant hanger.

* a link to my step by step video tutorial, which includes hints and tips and will make it super easy for you to follow along!

* packaged in recyclable box with attractive packaging, which fits through the letter box, so no fear of the parcel going missing if you are not home when it is delivered!

The only thing you will need is a pair of scissors, somewhere comfy to sit and an hour of crafting bliss to yourself!

The kit makes one macramé plant hanger, roughly 65cm long depending on how long you want your fringe. It will fit a plant pot up to 12 cm in diameter.
