Art in the Park are monthly art workshops run by artists Jo Sharpe and Abel Kesteven set an Ecology Centre classroom in the beautiful grounds of The Grove Park in Carshalton. They want to share their passion for the visual arts with their community. 

Each month they focus on a different discipline and this month, it's one of their favourites; printing!

You will have so much fun creating textures and images  and be amazed at what you can produce with relative ease. You will do monoprinting, relief printing and gel eprinting. The inspiration will be natural forms (autumn leaves) and you will create a monotype collage to go home with.

Jo Sharpe is an artist and freelance art teacher living in South London. She founded Budding Artists  5 years ago. Budding Artists is a range of art clubs helping adults and children develop art skills by being inspired by different artists and through using a variety of art mediums.

Budding Artists offers a range of classes for children and adults and gives them opportunity to improve their creative skills in a friendly, relaxed environment.  She now offers Drink and Draw, Art in the Park, Drawing for mindfulness and runs after school clubs at schools and evening and holiday workshops for adults and children.

 Jo loves nothing more than seeing kids enjoying themselves pursuing creative pastimes whilst gaining drawing and painting skills and a passion that could be lifelong.
