If you’ve always wanted to have a go at Glass Blowing , stop thinking about it and book a full day Masterclass with Bethany @ Blowfish Glass. I had and absolutely amazing day, learnt so much and made 3 pieces , a paperweight, bowl and vase (can’t wait to pick them up ) Bethany is fantastic and patient and is with you every step of the way (as was Katie, also fabulous) Thank you for helping me fulfil a dream of having a go a glass blowing after so many years of wanting to do it!! I will most definitely be back for more courses, thank you again 🥰😁
Tracey LavendarWhat an incredible experience! We were welcomed with a brew and friendly chat followed by health and safety, Beth is a great teacher, demonstrating and then supporting us one to one. We were able to make a paperweight, a bowl and a vase or glass. We could select our colour for the glass as well. The studio is lovely and gets very warm. Lunch is provided but take your own drinks and snacks for in between. As this is a 1:1 activity there is a lot of watching others and taking it all in, so prepare to get comfy. Toilets are on site and a cafe and souvenir shop. Parking is free and right opposite the studio. My glassware was received in the post 5 days later, brilliant! I cannot recommend this experience and Blowfish highly enough, such an incredible experience, thank you so much Beth!
AnnaI spent the day on the Glassblowing Masterclass course and had the best time from start to finish. Beth and Katie were so welcoming and the experience was fun, relaxed and informative. I have come away with a lot more knowledge and some helpful advice, I highly recommend and will definitely be returning! Thank you :)
undefinedWhat a fantastic Christmas present this was. This was on my bucket list for years and my day glass blowing didn’t disappoint in any way. Bethany and Katie were brilliant teachers. Extremely helpful and answered my many questions and helped us all to produce some beautiful glass pieces. I was thrilled with my bowl, vase and paper weight and delighted when it arrived home all securely packaged looking amazing. The lunch buffet was also delicious. Massively recommend this course. The gallery of there amazing work and talents is something special to see also.
Nicola ChapmanEverything about the day was amazing. Stunning glass shop in a really lovely surrounding. Couldn't have wished for two better Glass artists to introduce us to this than Bethany & Katie. They were both outstanding in their ability to explain & support. Both so patient & knowledgeable. No questions were unanswered & we came away with a real respect for what glass blowing entails & also an understanding of how to do the basics. Highly recommended.
undefinedWhat an incredible experience! I was so looking forward to this Xmas present and it was even better than I expected. We made three pieces of glass using a variety of techniques and were guided and encouraged at every step. I'd explained that I suffered from arthritis and both Beth and Katie were able to support me when needed. I would recommend this to anyone, you don't need to be wonderful at crafts, just willing to have a go!

Would 10000% recommend this and them to anyone who is interested in learning about glassblowing or just wants a fun creative day! Great as a gift for someone who likes creative activites as well. Beth and Katie were very welcoming, great teachers, and told us some really interesting things about what it's like to work in glassblowing. Had the best time! Can't wait to get a chance to do something like this again, ideally with the artists/teachers at Blowfish. Thanks Beth & Katie!

Zach WalkerI bought the workshop as a present for my husband for being so supportive in my own glass journey. As soon as he watched Blown Away on netflicks, he was hooked and fascinated by the skill so I thought it was only fair to support him with his interest. We both thoroughly enjoyed our experience. It was even better than we imagined. Bethany and Katie are amazingly patient and fun to spend time with. We were taught three different skills and are already proud of what we achieved in a day. We made three items - a paper weight , bowl and a drinking glass. I’ve now got the bug and will be booking the return beginnners class. Oh a lunch was lovely too 😁

GezThe full day beginner masterclass was a fabulous experience. I'd wanted to try glass blowing for a long time and finally had the opportunity. I was in a group of 5 and the instructor, Katie had an assistant, Olivia. Katie was brilliant. It was obvious that she was very experienced and talented. She was hyper aware of what was going on around her, with 5 complete novices to keep an eye on and she kept us all super safe - no injuries from the extremely hot furnaces and glass. The instruction was spot on and was delivered confidently and with humour. I was feeling very tired by the end of the 6 hours, while Katie was alert to the end. The lunch was a lovely buffet style and gave us a chance to chat and learn about what had brought us all to Blowfish at the Red House Glass Cone for this experience. I am a local though 2 participants had travelled from Warwick and another from Germany! I am excited to collect my 3 finished pieces in a couple of weeks to see how the colours turn-out when they have cooled. I thoroughly recommend this experience to anyone wanting to experience glass blowing or any creative glass activity.

We love our creations and can't believe the day whizzed by so quickly, really exciting. The one to one tuition plus watching everyone elses experineces meant we produced pieces to be proud of. Jack BriggsWhat a fantastic, fun day! The workshop looks amazing, situated right in the middle of an area full of history for glass makers - museums, shops, old kilns... Beth made us feel warm and welcome, and Huskie was an incredible instructor who helped us craft some fantastic pieces (even if you are a total beginner like me). There was a clear progression through the day, and everyone was engaged and having fun. I honestly can't wait to come back!

If you thought glassblowing was only for people with strong muscles, it's just the weight of the broom, and it's a beautiful art full of gentle movement working with this wonderful material. This course was a full day of making and helping in a small group and taking home you own design. The lunch was fab, the fun with the experts and people was great, high highly high recommends this course if you fancy learning glass blowing!!!

Claudio MartellGlassblowing has been a long held fascination for me and this workshop did not disappoint! Beth is a great teacher, constantly encouraging, directing and complimenting. Lots of hands-on time, flexibility with colours, designs , shapes etc - and time flies by! Great set up - small and personal - can’t wait to see my 3 unique glass pieces (paperweight, bowl and glass) when they’re posted back to me after cooling. Already looking to return to feed my fascination!

Can not recommend these sessions enough, I know I'll be back.
