I enjoyed so much coming every Thursday to hang out with the group and to discover the artsy part of me that I never though I had on me. So, yes, I'd recommend it to anyone!
Really fun, staff were friendly and happy to guide designs. worth it!
A lovely venue with friendly staff and an enjoyable afternoon!
It was a quite cozy and enjoyable workshop, where the lady leading the session was very attentive and helpful. (Sorry! Forgot her name).
Some useful techniques were shown to us and, when the finishing time was being reached, there was a strong feeling as if no one wanted to leave yet.
We all reluctantly left, as also getting late.
It was great to discover other different and interesting women that live in the same neighbourhood I live.
I sensed a happy feeling of accomplishment. amongst us all. .
I hope there were many other workshops.
It was lovely
Fabulous evening and fantastic hosts. I love my dish and the whole concept
We had a fantastic afternoon learning Kintsugi. 2 great tutors explaining what we should do, supporting along the way, providing drinks, snacks and everything we needed to experiment and create. I'm not a particularly creative person but it didn't matter - it really is something that everyone can try. Great fun!
An excellent workshop. Thoroughly enjoyable, very well presented and have learnt a lot.
Thank you for a brilliant creative afternoon and bonding time with my daughter
Was a fun afternoon learning about the art of kintsugi. Lots of skills and techniques were learned and we had an enjoyable time. The teachers were very helpful and attentive. Only downside for us is that it felt too rushed to finish off the second piece, so could have done with an extra 30 minutes for the session.
A really nice way to spend an afternoon !!
After walking through the city to a beautiful space we were met with our teacher for the afternoon Daisy.
What a lovely, friendly and approachable young lady who guided us through the basics of making thumb pots, coil pots, and sharing techniques to making flat sheets of clay and how to join these successfully, and various other tips.
This was held in a calm and relaxing atmosphere, where everyone felt comfortable to give it a go !
Daisy calmly assisted and taught a varied group of students with different degrees of talent and shared and demonstrated her knowledge throughout the day.
An absolute credit to Art4space.
I thoroughly recommend this course to take the first steps into pottery or to brush up on those key skills and to generally have a very wholesome time !!
I attended the clothes repair workshop with Morgane in the evening and I was delighted to fix the sleeves on a top that I love but couldn’t wear until fixed. Morgane talked to me about the best approach with the particular fabric, showed me how to work the sewing machine or proceed by hand( which I did in the end as I preferred the control I had over the fabric that way)
It was a fun, educational and relaxed evening in one of my favourite places on Earth. Art 4 Space, more importantly the staff are so fantastic, every single one of them, that I look forward to going and being creative and sharing. An absolute sanity saver!
Fab evening making pots. Really good set up and excellent instruction. Would love to do another class.
I have a great time at class yesterday 🤩
Thank you Rosa
I was given a voucher for Kintsugi as a present and went with my daughter. We both thoroughly enjoyed the class. It was well organised, the teacher and her assistant were both enthusiastic and knowledgeable. They explained the procedures clearly and there was plenty of one to one help when needed. We both recommend the experience.
I’m very happy to be involved in this project
Fabulous morning! Learned a new skill, great tuition, well resourced and a calm, bright space. Would recommend. A great Muand Daughter experience! Thank you 😊
I did a Kintsugi class in October and it was amazing fun. I would highly recommend.
This workshop was brilliantly resourced with a fantastic. range of varied materials. The teaching and facilitation were also of very high-quality.. the session was well timed with most of us being able to completely finish a small tapestry. The quality of the work produced was very high..
This was my first ever experience of weaving and I learnt the basic skill set. I’d recommend it to anybody interested in learning about tapestry.
a very enjoyable and inspiring evening that just flew by!
The class was enjoyable from start to finish: John was knowledgable, supportive and really good fun. Would recommend for friends and couples!
Me and my partner had so much fun :) It was just like John said, a place where we could disconnect from the mental and digital race, where we could be present and creative, and I truly felt that! I struggle with anxiety and a part of me was worried that I would be too intimidated by everyone elses pieces, but it was just such a lovely environment that I not once looked at anyone elses piece and felt like I had to compare mine to theirs, I felt relaxed, free to think and create, and I felt connected to my younger self! So thank you very much Art4Space and John for a wonderful experience <3
I bought this course as a birthday present for me. The course was excellent. The technique was well explained, and the teachers were patient and kind. The venue is beautiful and invites you to work.
I'm looking forward to doing another workshop with The Art4space.
Great course, good tuition would reccomend
What an amazing experience, my wife and I had such a good time and learned so much. A must do.
Absolutely great fun...and also really interesting.
The people leading the course were fab
Brilliant workshop! My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed it, even though he was cynical beforehand. John was an excellent teacher; instructive and insightful but not over-bearing or interfering. The range of materials and tools was excellent and inspiring. This workshop really went beyond our expectations. We're only gutted we live so far away otherwise we'd definitely be signing up for a regular class. Thank you so much!
Amazing experience, calming and therapeutic. We love our little plates and it’s a perfect bonding time creating together. Thank you for having us ! We really enjoyed our experience !
Absolutely love this class. The workshop leaders are very friendly, helpful, and clear when teaching us how to use the equipment. It's a lovely idea for a date, a hang out with friends, or just a treat for yourself! You really get your money's worth with the materials they have available, and the drink is a lovely bonus. I 100% recommend this place, and will be going again!
My daughter and I booked to do the Japanese Kanzashi fabric flower Workshop and it was amazing. It was a wonderful mother and daughter half term activity for me! The choice of materials is incredible. There were lots of colourful fabrics to choose from and also amazing buttons and beads to embellish our fabric flowers with. The Tutor Ellie and her assistant were very supportive and patiently showed us how to make the fabric flowers. They were attentive to each person if we got stuck . We were also given a glass of wine and other drinks. They had relaxing music on and so it was a very calm and relaxing experience. The flowers look so complex when they are finished, but I was surprised how easy they were to make. I would thoroughly recommend this textile workshop!
We had a wonderful evening with John who was very welcoming and created a relaxed and fun environment allowing us to create whatever we wanted using these techniques. Would recommend to a friend!
John was great - very friendly and helpful. The course was laid-back and informative, and very well-priced compared to others I've seen.
Fantastic experience, very well run and demonstrated well, got 2 cool bowls made!
Absolutely loved this. Bought this as a voucher for my friends birthday and she loved it too. Came away with a nice kintsugi plate which I made. Overall a fun evening and would recommend.
Booked a mosaic class as a birthday gift to a friend. The class was a lot of fun and time flew by. Instructions given were clear and simple to follow. Very happy with our pieces. Would recommend!
Fantastic afternoon! Very relaxing to immerse oneself in a new creative process. Clear instruction and gentle helpful support. Highly recommend!
Excellent workshop making flowers from scrap fabrics. A seemingly complex process was simply explained and with very little sewing I made two beautiful flowers that I will wear in the future. A very enjoyable and satisfying experience.
This was the first class I attended at Art4Space and my partner and I had a lovely time as it was my last week in London. Daisy was a wonderful tutor and created such a lovely atmosphere to what is already a beautiful art space. The class was such a wonderful time of learning, making and spending time with loved ones. Truly recommend this place to anyone!
Thank you for the lovely evening with kintsugi- a very interesting, friendly and casual experience- perfect way to unwind after work! The group was small so if you needed you could get lots of help from the teachers, and it was a fun time. We also got a kit to continue at home!
Very relaxing and informative class. It was fun to learn and do, great that I got to take my creation home with me the same day. Snacks and drinks were a nice touch too.
great first experience, lovely teacher, friendly environment, very fun easy going and enjoyable !
Enjoyable workshop, very welcoming and inclusive. Would only have benefitted more from it being later in the day, as we had trouble getting a train early enough. Otherwise, 5*
Had such a fun evening at the Kintugi course at Art4Space. Friendly atmosphere with a nice group of people. Great instruction and so pleased with the result
My niece and I really enjoyed the class and the teacher was great. She was supportive and patient. Thank you 😊
Wonderful class, very fun, the workshop leader was super engaging, and made everyone feel at ease and looked after, would definitely come again!
We had a great time. Daisy was really welcoming and informative. Looking forward to received my attempts
A lovely evening, relaxing atmosphere. Good tuition allowing your own imagination to be inspired.
A lovely evening making a purse out of a tie. I was curious to explore first hand what I could make of it and it was surprisingly easy and fun. Fran is an awesome tutor, patient and gentle with a great sense of humour. The glass of wine was a lovely addition.
Natty and Blue were really great at leading the group. They were knowledgeable and friendly and supportive. Was a magic experience that we would recommend to anyone (and have already started doing so!) - thank you
Absolutely brilliant Kintsugi session. John and Jess really knew their stuff. Was a great couple of hours in a gorgeous space. Highly recommended.
I loved this workshop! An opportunity to make a terracotta pot, annd also a macrame hanger too .
Great experience in a nice working environment. Highly recommended.
This workshop was well structured, relaxed, and informative. Several different stitching techniques what demonstrated with plenty of time for practice and time for creative expression. The studio was warm relaxed and very well resource..
I loved this class. A great room. People in the group were all made to feel welcome and Ellie supported me with learning different stitches. I fully recommend this class - This one was free but I would pay for it in future. Well worth it.
Relaxing doodle stitching evening with a glass of wine. Ellie, the tutor, showed us how to stitch a variety of stitches and came round all of us for a personal explanation and check to see how we were getting on. We sat in a happy room full of textiles and threads, buttons and needles. An absolute delight!
It was my first time in the Make & Mend Studio. It was an amulet workshop, and provided an opportunity to develop a very personal piece of textile. The session was both brilliantly facilitated and resourced.
I came along because wanted to improve my sewing skills and deepen my understanding of working with textiles. Both objectives achieved, and a nice amulet to take home
Yesterday share a wonderful and incredible experience with helping and taught me to learn more about the different materials and advise I used, recycling materials, to decoration and create a design own and decorative ,I learned more on this day and enjoyed the course conducted by the tutor Natti very beautiful person, thanks very much for understanding and patience I am grateful for the opportunity and experience very great I had at Studio Art4.
Lovely workshop, with just the right amount of teaching and support. A wonderful way to spend a Saturday afternoon. Thank you :)
A brilliant KINTSUGI afternoon for both of us, your 2 instructors were so friendly, helpful and knowledgeable . A most welcoming experience and brilliant setup - hats off to you all involved there.
Such a fun experience!! Complete beginner and was guided through the day and really happy with my finished creations.
Staff member leading the session was a total pro and so helpful!
Beautiful venue, amazing facilities, knowledgeable and friendly trainer, great value - just perfect.
Great teacher, environment and materials. Thank you
Well paced session. Very relaxed evening creating 2 lovely bowls.
Such a great session. John and Daisy were great at making sure we all had refreshments and talked us through each step. The time absolutely flew by and we'll definitely be coming back for mosaics when we get the time
Brilliant workshop! An amazing way to switch off from the noise of life and tune into ‘real me time’ not digital passive screen watching! Felt great to put my hands to real use and create something I felt very proud to take home. Relaxing way to spend a sunny Saturday afternoon with supportive tutors ‘Julie and Gemma’ who I learnt a lot from about the art form of Picassiette. I’m looking forward to booking onto another Art4Space workshop. I will defo be recommending to my friends about the local ‘gem’ of an art studio I’ve come across in Stockwell! The studio is full of amazing resources and art inspiration. They even have a beautiful garden to relax in at anytime you fancy a break. I highly recommend this workshop to anyone who loves switching off from it all and who loves free snacks and a refreshing supply of alcohol and non alcohol drinks.
Brilliant, relaxing evening that felt very accommodating. We left with 3 pots we fixed using Kintsugi. I would highly recommend to everyone!
I had a really great time with my friend on the Kintsugi workshop. It's a creative and fun venue, great hosts, drinks and snacks included, and I came home with 2 pieces of art I made. Thank you!
Really enjoyed the Kintsugi class last Saturday. Great fun and very well organised. Highly recommended. Hope to come back for another course in the future
Loved it! The atmosphere was amazing, the studio was super cute and organised. The class was very fun, you feel as if you are in crafts dreamland. Recommend
Really enjoyed the class, absorbing and satisfying. Felt really supported by the tutor.
I took my friend to the class for her birthday and we had the best time. The class was very well paced and we got to make and 'take home' 3 pieces which is incredibly good value! The pieces will be sent to us!
Great Birthday Experiance present bought for myself and my Husband. An opportunity to gave some quality fun time. The class was easy to follow laid back and relaxed. We definitely valve for money in every respect.
Loved the course. A long due dream come true with this. The tutor was really helpful and they even run the course an hour plus just to be sure everybody finished his pieces. Thanks a lot for the Team
Greatly enjoyed the Kintsugi class. My sister gave me a voucher for the session when I had recently been in hospital to cheer me up and it certainly worked. An open friendly space with green tea offered and all materials provided. Clear hands-on and individual instructions and support. There were about sixteen in the group, of varied ages and no prior experience. We all achieved at least one reconstructed pot. Satisfying.
It was an amazing experience and I would definitely comeback for more! @john was so lovely as a tutor.
Such a great experience!!! Staff is very friendly and helpful. The location is full of artwork and materials to create any art pieces.
Very clean and super organised.
The experience has been very good for me. I learn a new skills , I disconnected my mind with the entire world while I was focusing on create a mosaic . I found it Very simple and easy to learn . Love the you can choose to go alone or with friends.
(there is a space for everyone and plenty of material)
A different idea to support a local community and schools in the area.
Wish the was more street decorate with mosaic and colourful buildings to create a very vibrant and vital city promoting creativity and decrease criminality.
Thanks . See u soon.
Absolutely loved the mosaic class, I'd never tried mosaics before so didn't know what to expect. I was surprised and delighted by the freedom to be creative whilst also having really brilliant tuition and help. The class was a lovely size, friendly and relaxed. The studio is a wonderful space and has everything you could possibly need, I loved the choice of glass and ceramics to use in the mosaic. Thank you for the perfect stress-relief from a very busy day at work!
Loved our mosaic class, John was a great teacher and the chilled vibes were lovely. Highly recommend to anyone. Thanks John 🙏
Such a lovely afternoon. The instructors were brilliant & made us all feel so comfortable. They helped each individual & we all got to take our creations home.
Enjoyed learning new skills. Tutor was friendly and knowledgeable.
Had a fantastic session learning Kintsugi. Everything explained clearly, lots of help offered. Would recommend the class
My friend and I had a fabulous time learning an amazing new skill. Blu talked the group through a potted history of Kintsuki and then they gave precise instructions to us in manageable chunks giving us time to complete each section and giving each student individual hints and praise. They time managed perfectly enabling us to complete two objects. Can’t praise them enough oh and did I mention the takeaway coffee size cups filled with Prosecco and the. White wine a perfect evening. Thank you
A great evening. Blue was excellent and gave good instruction, and was there at our shoulder giving
I really enjoyed this Kintsugi experience. The hosts were very helpful and attentive along with their assistance to ensure your remastered crockery was one to be proud of.
A wonderful class! We went as a couple and really enjoyed it, one of us with an arty background, one without. There was a real mixture of people in our group and everyone got stuck in and had a great time. The tutors were really friendly, super informative and made us feel welcome. I’d highly recommend. Thanks so much for a wonderful afternoon.
Was a great gift! My partner and I had a great time learning a new skill in a warm, relaxed and welcoming environment. The teachers were great and very hospitable, even went the extra mile to cater for my dietary requirements.
We were gifted a pottery session at Art4Space and it was one of the best activities we have done together. We were greeted very warmly and offered free drinks. It’s great for all ages and anyone, I had no idea how to do pottery but we were taught three techniques by Daisy and then given even more clay to make our own pieces. It was a really enjoyable and creative experience and the staff were very welcoming and generous which made it all the more fun. A very community driven project
Such a great experience. Would highly recommend. So many materials to chose from and suitable for all abilities. (Even those who don't think they are creative x ).
Had a really great time. The set up, the structure, the staff were all brilliant
Excellent Kintsugi class with John.
Fantastic workshop ran by lovely and knowledgeable hosts - had a fun evening learning about the history of Kintsugi as well as making a unique gold filled pair of saucers. Thank you!
I absolutely loved my kintsugi session.
I really needed a time out from life’s stresses and this was the perfect antidote.
The team were great. Welcoming, easy to learn from and very encouraging.
I’m rather proud of my two pots.
I would absolutely recommend this session.
Had a lovely few hours learning Kintsugi. Got to work on 2 pieces, great value for money and very helpful and friendly teachers. I would advise the more breaks you make the longer it takes to complete, so rushed a bit to finish in the allotted time. Still thoroughly enjoyed and would do again.
Loved my Kintsugi class
Really lovely art space. Great tuition and support and extremely good value.
We had a great time. Easy to find. Friendly atmosphere. Would recommend
The venue was nice and staff were lovely. However generally I was a little disappointed that we didn’t learn anything about the traditional Japanese Kintsugi method. I understand the use of the epoxy glue but would still be nice to at least know how it could be done properly. There isn’t much to the workshop than just break things and glue them together so if you are not into that, it might not be for you.
Lovely experience! Enjoyed the pottery class very much
I had an amazing experience doing this class. The instructors were super knowledgable and let you go at your own pace. I would definitely recommend, perfect your any skill level.
It was the best creative activity for a summer evening with friends! I recommend it to everyone. Daisy is the kindest and most helpful instructor and she was generous with the wine and helped create a fun and relaxed environment to create our pieces.
This place is a haven, it has really enabled me to grow artistically and see how my music career and visual arts can inform one another and evolve! So pleased I have been able to take courses here and the bonus of it being child friendly perfect for a creative parent, a must the modern times we live in!
We did the Kintsugi course which was good fun and with excellent tuition. The team were really friendly and offered plenty of support (and refreshments)!
I really enjoyed the Kintsugi workshop. Everything was very well organised in a lovely setting and I was so pleased with what I had done that I bought a kit to do more at home. Lovely helpful staff too.
My wife and I attended the Art of Kintsugi course. Firstly we really enjoyed it. The session was good fun and the class leaders were friendly and gave clear instructions. Secondly we have now learnt a new skill. We purchased one of the kits to use at home, for the next time we break something!f
Exceptional course with friendly and helpful leaders.
Really interesting and well organised lesson. It was really good fun and unique. The 2 teachers were both really nice too. Thank you very much for a lovely evening!
Fantastic evening trying something different in a lovely relaxed setting!
Really enjoyable afternoon doing something different. Nice instructors and great venue
My mother and I really enjoyed this workshop! Really informative and the two ladies hosting were super friendly and helpful.
Brilliant class with friendly atmosphere and great hosts.
Really enjoyed the make and mend class. I took along a load of clothes that needed repairing. The lovely tutor gave me lots of ideas and guidance on the best way to repair my clothes. I haven't hand sewn or used a machine for yrs and the tutor helped me to repair everything I had brought in and I now feel confident to hand sewn and use a machine. The textiles studio is lovely and chilled, and there were drinks, snacks and cakes provided. It was a lovely evening and I would definitely recommend this class to anyone interested in textiles etc. The tutor is very knowledgeable and patient around a variety of techniques.
This was a great class! The teacher was great and explained things very clearly, and guided us through the art of kintsugi. It was fascinating and we made beautiful pieces. I keep a wonderful memory of this session. Thank you!
Thoroughly enjoyable session, very well explained. Lovely staff, lovely surroundings, we were very well looked after. Great to learn a new craft. A very relaxing time. Absolutely recommend this place.
Great evening very enjoyable - certainly recommend. Gives you the basics on how to make a selection of pots. Also very pleased with my end results.
Had a wonderful time learning a new skill. Lovely space with a great ethos and very patient teacher.
What a lovely chilled evening we had learning a new skill from such a patient tutor. We took away two permanent reminders of the event xx
We loved our couples kintsugi course. Neither of us are particularly “crafty” but the experience was warm, encouraging and accessible. We left with 4 decent attempts to show off with!! Thank you John and Blue!
It was a great experience! The only thing I missed was an explanation or introduction to the technique, history, original way of doing it, etc.
We thoroughly enjoyed the kintsugi workshop, trying something new and leaving with a peice of beautiful art! The teachers were great, very passionate about what they do and explained things well step-by-step, including history of the tradition and demos. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere in a lovely art space. Definitely recommend!
This was a really great evening. Relaxed, enjoyable and learning new things. Never done pottery before and subject to the kiln gods will hopefully have a new sun yellow pen holder for my desk - made using slab building and coiling - in about 4 weeks time. My wife and I both had a great time.
The environment is welcoming and inspiring, the refreshments are generous and varied, and the class is just the right balance of guidance and independence (as with the Mosaic class I took this spring).
Morgane encouraged us to take risks, advised using her textile expertise, assisted us as needed, and created a relaxed, friendly social atmosphere.
Art4Space is nourishing.
I got to learn a new skill that I can use to mend my children's clothes.
Amazing class for an amazing cause! Natti was a great teacher, guiding us with great advice whilst giving us space to try our own things!
A lovely setting. We felt well looked after and were interested to hear about the work of the centre. The workshop was interesting, . All materials were provided. However, the session was only 2 hours rather than the 2 1/2 advertised, plus there were a lot of people -about 20- so although the tutor knew her stuff, it was difficult to get advice. Personally I like a max of 2 participants.
I had a wonderful evening at the new Art4Space Textile/ Make and Mend Studio . Our lovely Tutor, Natti showed us how to make a beautiful patchwork lined purse with a zip, which I absolutely love! We could choose our fabric combination from a selection of beautiful fabric cotton squares, and the Studio Is very well resourced so we had a sewing machine each. The sewing machines had been serviced and were working beautifully. At the end, we sewed some beads as a decoration to our purse, from the amazing collection of textile resources in the studio. It was a very relaxing and creative experience because the studio is set in a lovely garden and Natti even gave us a glass of wine and chocolate cake! I would highly recommend
Such a great session, a lovely experience all round. The craft was accessible but still engaging/challenging and the instructors were lovely. Atmosphere was warm and welcoming and everything was great value! Will a thousand percent be coming back!
Great experience, teachers were really helpful and the whole activity was really relaxing. Highly recommend it!
I really enjoyed this session.
It was great! My instructor was very helpful and showed us all step by step how to make the purse.
I liked that I could learn the quilting technique during these session and I would like to use it in my future sewing projects.
Lovely class with Natti. We learnt a new and quick way of making patchwork. I also learnt to put a zip by machine and how to use a special Zip foot on the sewing machine . A very pleasant way of spending an evening. The purse I made is beautiful. I will definitely recommend the course
This pottery making workshop was fun, informative and friendly. Thank you!
This class was very well taught, with support, fun and lots of room for creativity. We had the choice of three types of bisqueware (mugs, bowls and side plates), and could choose two pieces to paint using a wide range of ready-mixed glazes, which will be fired and posted to us. Remember to paint on clear glaze at the end if you want the pieces to be food-safe! My mum and I both made pieces we're really happy with. The venue is lovely - spacious, well equipped and in a pretty courtyard. Very generous refreshments are provided, including a beer or glass of wine if you like. I will definitely be returning!
Such a fun experience with friends! Staff were very helpful and a great selection of bowls to pick from! Really nice venue and a fun afternoon with drinks and snacks. Couldn’t recommend enough if you’re looking for something different to do. Also great to come alone too as the environment is so friendly and easy to socialise with others!
I absolutely loved the workshop Blue was a great tutor, she provided a very calm environment , I cannot say enough what a lovely experience e this was
I did the pinch, coil and slab building workshop and absolutely loved it. We were taught all techniques at the start and given time to try each out, which was really fun. Then we were given a really nice amount of time to decide what to make, and give it a go. Very hands on help when required. Really nice group. Such a wonderful evening! I’ll be returning to try something else soon!
Natalie & John turned lumps of clay into masterpieces (almost)! This pottery class was fantastic - calming, creative, and a total blast. Huge thanks to John and Natalie's amazing instruction. Walked in a newbie, and walked out with a wonky (but loved!) bowl and a newfound appreciation for the craft.
Joey & Jason
The class was amazing! The teacher was very helpful and friendly - lots of opportunities to ask your own questions. All the materials are provided, and the atmosphere is great (playlist in particular). You learn lots while still having fun. Would 100% recommend!
A fab workshop to learn the basics of Kintsugi, with great tutors. I would fully recommend it. Thank you
A lovely day spent learning a new skill and well organised.
Brilliant session! Spacious , welcoming well equipped workspace. Friendly and knowledgeable tutors. Had a 10/10 day learning kintsugi. All materials provided, refreshments included, great value for money. Will definitely book again.
Very Interesting but too much of a skill to create something of beauty to be learned in a couple of hours. I was expecting more emphasis on the Japanese cultural aspect.
Lovely evening, really nice workshop with very helpful instructors
Great class. Lots of fun.
Natty and Blue were great teachers - calm energy and super knowledgeable - we created some fantastic pieces and also bought the tools to do more at home! Wonderful time - would do again
Had a great day learning about Kintsugi. The tutor was very good and helpful. Would like to visit again to try something else .
Friendly, welcoming, well organised and taught workshop. Loved it
Absolutely excellent workshop!
Great experience lots of fun and learning
I really love this ceramics handbuilding class and try to go as often as possible. I've learnt so much about the different processes of handbuilding with clay. The tutors provide a lovely, relaxing and welcoming space for you to explore your creative abilities. They work with you at your pace and encourage you to create something amazing from a lump of clay. Its quite incredible when you see the finished pieces which have been fired and glazed. I would recommend this class to absolute beginner's and also to people like myself who have been working with clay for a while now. It's a great night out in a chilled, relaxing studio space.
What a fabulous experience! Honestly, way above my expectations. The place is beautiful, the instructor was so cool, knowledgeable, kind ! We had so much fun and learned a lot! We had drinks, nibbles, great choice of colours at the end and THEY INCLUDE THE DELIVERY! SERIOUSLY FANTASTIC! Would love to go again :) and will recommend to all my friends
My friend and I had the loveliest evening for her birthday, John offered the perfect balance of direction and creative freedom when explaining each technique. Such a lovely space and company - can't wait to see my glazed & fired pieces in a few weeks!
We joined the kintsugi class and loved every minute. We were greeted with a beer, snacks and a very relaxing experience. We never felt rushed or like anything was too much trouble. We were offered refreshments throughout the class and encouraged to take our time but we were also encouraged to do two pieces if we wanted to. It’s a lovely peaceful sanctuary - perfect after a stressful day at work. The instructors were patient kind and clear in their teaching. We loved it
Absolutely Brilliant.
John is an excellent tutor. His balance of informing us of the principles of cutting and preparing the mosiac tiles and the time to complete a project was perfect.
A very happy and great evening. As I was given this experience as a gift from my daughter I will now do the same for her and bring her along to this fabulous experience.
Oh and a lovely glass of wine as well! Great!
Thank you so much.
Great Kintsugi workshop, with all tools and materials supplied. Refreshments were welcome too. Thanks all.
Most enjoyable workshop. Well explained and presented. I was delighted with the finished results. Plenty of refreshments and snacks available throughout the workshop. 4 stars rather than 5 because the files used as part of the process were blunt and need replacing making that task more difficult and time consuming. However, I would definitely attend another workshop at Art4Space .
I attended this with my husband and we loved every second being there and creating our pieces. The staff was very friendly and cooperative, helping and guiding us throughout the session. Will definitely go back sometime in future.
Fabulous handbuilding clay class. The tutor John is so patient and knowledgeable. I have learnt how to do pinch pots, slab building and cooling. Lovely, relaxing space, and great music! Would definitely recommend this to friends for a fun night out and/or an evening doing ceramics.
I absolutely loved the Kintsugi workshop, both of the teachers were fun, friendly and really supportive of everyone. I love the pots that I made and will be using them to hold jewellery. If you ran out of time, you had the option to buy a Kintsugi kit to finish it at home.
We loved the experience, it is perfect for any size group. John is extremely knowledgeable and patient. You are shown the different techniques with a live demo and then get the opportunity to practice yourself. The best thing is that you can take any direction with your design and if you don't like it then you can easily start again.
This experience was gifted to me by my children so I invited a friend and we came down from Sheffield to take part.
It was well executed and we both thoroughly enjoyed it .Thank you very much.
John and sian were brilliant, had an awesome time trying my hand at kintsugi. May be back in future!
Amazing class! Had so much fun and would highly recommend!
Lovely afternoon. Very enjoyable but went by too fast. Excellent teaching.
Great hosts who made it fun 🤩 . A supportive and non judgmental environment for beginners 😀.
Excellent course and tuition, but not enough time to finish so perhaps a bit longer would be a bonus.
John led our session as was really friendly and helpful. Highly recommend to anyone who need a few ideas on activities. Looking forward to seeing the final product when posted to us in a few weeks
Very enjoyable course., and time flew by! The presenters were very friendly and inviting which added to the experience. I would highly recommend this workshop to others.
Only criticism I would offer is that you need to find a better, and quicker way, to do the filing of the broken edges since this eats away at the time available, and doesn't really leave enough time to complete a second piece. The 'old' files seemed better than the 'new' ones, but are there other options?
May also be wise to advise participants to keep to a maximum of 3 pieces to allow time to complete two items when sharing the 'tips'.
Are there other options for the adhesive i.e. using the 2-part syringe products to reduce risk of 'sticky fingers'? Or are these too expensive?
Really enjoyed my afternoon with you - friendly, informative and well organised. Very pleased with my bowl AND the rescue of my favourite mug. Thank you very much!
What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon! We loved the Kintsugi workshop. Guided beautifully through the process and became totally absorbed creating our Japanese bowls. Very professional; a warm and friendly atmosphere.
This was such a lovely experience.
The tutors were really knowledgeable and welcoming, there was a perfect level of instruction and freedom.
Highly recommend this experience.
A wonderful afternoon spent learning a new skill. John was patient, warm and friendly and the time flew by. Such a nice touch to be offered drinks and snacks. Can’t wait to try another class!
A great session, John was a brilliant teacher, making sure that everyone was okay at all times.
Would have liked another 30 minutes as it got a bit rushed on the second piece
The workshop was amazing and John explained the process very carefully. We managed to bring hope 3 pieces and we love them!
Wonderful class. It was fun, not too difficult, interesting, the teacher was great and very welcoming.
Wish I lived closer so I could do more classes! Thanks for a great afternoon.
We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and were very well looked after. Was great to learn Kintsugi.
We had a wonderful afternoon! John was a brilliant, patient and funny instructor - it was easy to follow, lovely to have wine and snacks and we just laughed the whole time :)
An amazing class with great instruction and two beautiful pieces to take home. Definitely a great gift to someone or yourself- I would highly recommend.
We had a great time doing the Kintsugi class. Really interesting, and very therapeutic. We learnt a lot and came away with some really lovely pieces
An amazing experience and great tutorial. Relaxed environment and lovely surroundings.
Worth every penny. Opportunity to spend quality time with my daughter.
Really cool class. Super cute bowls at the end too!
Fun class and very informative!
Was a fun evening learning a new craft. Thrilled with our end product! Gifted via Virgin Experience Days - what a great gift! Teacher and assistants were friendly and helpful.
We had an absolutely FANSTASTIC session with Nattie on Sunday doing Kintsugi. All our needs were catered for and she created a friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Her knowledge was vast and we both created a piece we are proud of. Thank you so much.
I recently took a Kintsugi class at Art4space. The atmosphere was friendly and welcoming. The class was a mix both practical and informative. I left with 2 small plates I worked on during the class and bought a kit to keep practising. I can highly recommend the class and Art4space studio.
Really really enjoyed the session. The techniques were well explained, and loved trying to create three items. My pieces were not perfect!!! But I fully enjoyed slowing down and trying to create something for myself. Found it very mindful, lovely calm space to be in. Really appreciated the tea and snacks.
Sadly I travelled all the way from Cheshire on the train only be told on arrival that the event was cancelled. Twenty of us got emails as we stood outside waiting to be let in.
The workshop was great fun. It was really well organised and well attended. The facilities were good. A nice environment to work in. The tutors were really helpful giving clear instructions and supervising closely. They worked hard to support each person to make sure we used the techniques well. It was interesting and enjoyable. Thank you so much.
The class was brilliant. The tutors had the patience of a Saint... thankyou.
For me I could have done with an extra half hour for finishing off. But realise there has to be a cut off time. If an option to pay an extra £5 towards other classes for children's classes was available, I for one would be delighted. Thank you for your time, expertise and professionalism.
My friend and I really enjoyed the Kintsugi workshop. Friendly atmosphere, excellent instruction and support. A lovely and relaxing space, highly recommended.
A really lovely short course covering the basics with as much or little support as you want from very helpful tutors
My friend and I loved the whole experience! From attentive instructors to beverages and snacks made available throughout the class. We both made two pieces each, which we were very proud of! Would love to attend another class in the near future.
I attended a Kintsugi workshop at Art4Space workshop yesterday and it was well beyond my expectations! Absolutely fantastic! Lead by Natalie and assisted by John it was extremely well run. I didn't expect to come away with two beautiful products that I made in the workshop. It was a fabulous afternoon where we were made comfortable and offered an array of refreshments and snacks. More importantly you could tell Natalie and John were experts. It takes a properly trained teacher to teach well and Natalie showed brilliant class management and educated us with simple, clear instructions, a truly gifted teacher 10 out of 10. The measure of a good teacher is did we learn? We certainly did and I came away with newly acquired skill and in such a short space of time again, a tribute to the skills of teacher and assistant. Another really important aspect is their communication was superb every step of the way. I will be telling all my friends and will definitely be returning for another session, also the studio has loads on offer. I highly recommend this professional outfit. Thank you.
Fantastic experience doing kintsugi - the session leaders were really helpful and gentle and we were really pleased with what we were able to create at the end!
loved it
Amazing workshop! We had a great time. The host was really welcoming and down to earth. Also great to pay towards a charity that helps the community!
Really lovely creative spacious art space. Clear helpful guidance from teacher. Friendly place with drinks, coffees and biscuits provided. Very enjoyable. Would definitely recommend
Interesting and enjoyable workshop. Very therapeutic!
Great afternoon learning a new skill. Probably could have done with an extra half an hour as it was a bit of a rush at the end. Would love to do another session to build on what I have learnt.
Great afternoon workshop learning Kintsugi. The tutors were welcoming and informative. Would highly recommend!
Fantastic very welcoming and friendly would love to come again thank you 🙏🙂
Really enjoyed the experience and will be doing more at home. I bought a kit because I already have a project in mind - repairing a much loved bowl in memory of my mother.
We had a fantastic kintsugi morning and were well looked after. Came out with some lovely pieces, very happy.
This was my first ever pottery class and it was awesome. The tutor was really friendly, clear and knowledgeable and the atmosphere was really relaxed. For two and a half hours I was absorbed in making with clay and completely forgot about the day job - just what I needed. Thank you Art4Space, can't wait to return!
Great fun, lovely people. Would do it again!
My friend gifted me with class as a birthday present and we had a FANTASTIC time. It was so fun to spend time together doing something creative. Our thoughtful instructor John, taught us three techniques for working with clay. At the end of the class we made three pots and got to pick our glazes. The pots will then be mailed to our addresses in four weeks. Highly recommend this class and the value you get out of it!
Great experience. We tried kintsugi and loved it. Great teacher and really chilled group.
The workshop was absolutely wonderful, well paced, kind and informative hosts, inspiring space, all materials accessible and came away with something I am really proud of. Will definitely go again.
Friendly and relaxed learning experience, really well set out and clearly explained. Had a great time and my friend did who chose this for her birthday gift experience.
The course was so well run. The instructors were welcoming, patient and fun, and we came away with 2 beautiful pieces of art that we'd made. I cannot recommend highly enough.
Great workshop , very helpful and was so lovely to sit and relax
Staff was very welcoming and the activity was very engaging
Brilliant class! Great teacher! Friendly atmosphere :)
Really enjoyed our time with instructor John. It would have been better if we could have had more time on the 2nd dish. However we still had a lovely afternoon.
A really lovely, friendly, informative class - pitched just at the right level so that it was challenging but fun.
Lovely community studio, and a really interesting and friendly workshop. The tutor was very patient and his at explaining the process. By the end of the session I had two beautiful Kintsugi bowls to take home. Highly recommend!
I thought this was a really nice space to work in with lots of light. The materials and equipment supplied were good quality and the demonstrations made everything very clear. I liked that we could make a couple of pieces if we liked. The refreshments and snacks were also good. I would recommend this Kintsugi class.
My girlfriend and me had a lovely time, felt very professional as well as homely. Came back with three nice pieces.
Really enjoyable class and fun learning about the art of kintsugi. My daughter and I had fun experimenting with the techniques. The class had a lovely chilled pace and drinks and snacks are also provided. Any profits made go to helping local young people with mental health issues.
I tried this for the first time. The instructors were very friendly and welcoming. They were always available to help at every step of the way. The venue was very cool and the atmosphere as very relaxed. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would definitely go again.
John was a fantastic instructor! Explains everything very clearly and made the session fly by! Very fun afternoon, wish it was longer
Great session
It was a brilliant and very fun class. Both instructors were very good at explaining the process and making it such an enjoyable experience. Myself and my partner thoroughly enjoyed it
Really enjoyed the class. The work stations were well prepped, the instructions easy to follow and the instructors were very attentive providing additional resources and drinks. I was thrilled with what I made and have already been recommending the class.
I had a great time learning lots about Kintsugi in the time we had. The whole set up was fantastic and the facilitators were very helpful. Thank you.
Lovely welcoming tutor who paced the class well to ensure that everyone left with a completed item. Processes very clear and the opportunity to buy a kit to do more. Easy to get to as well as very close to Stockwell tube. Great experience
John was such a sweet instructor and the group was so lovely. Everyone cheering each other one, time went so fast. Many student wanted to come back for another session. I recommend, pick your design fast so you have time to create it!
Brilliant day. Well organised, informative and fun
This was such a lovely session, really friendly and calming and the instructors were so patient. I came away with two small pieces that I will always treasure. The music was brill too ;-)
A wonderful place that just beams with creativity. My class was well organised and great fun.
My boyfriend and I attended the Kintsugi class, and it was amazing! John was a great teacher, reassuring us and guiding us, with patience and care. You get to make 2 pieces each with all the materials provided for you, and they turn out so beautiful and unique. You get free tea, coffee, beer, wine, soft drinks, and snacks to fuel you for the 2 1/2 hour class. They also have little Kintsugi kits you can buy for £12 incase you don't finish your piece, or if you want to continue your Kintsugi journey at home, which I think is a great idea! The class had such a nice atmosphere and everyone looked like they were having a great time - I could hear other attendees talking about what a great class it was! Would definitely recommend and would buy this experience for friends and family, 10/10!
Such a good class and lovely technique with bubbly atmosphere. Beautiful results at the end with an option to buy a kit to finish them off too! Great Scottish man hosting too
Loved the kintsugi workshop - Ellie was really clear with her instructions, and having John and Aysha moving around the space to support was really helpful. Thank you for a mindful afternoon.
A really great space. The class i attended was kintsuji. The tutors are very knowledgable and friendly and give very clear instructions. The whole afternoon was great fun with a laid back vibe while learning a new skill. I would definitely recommend attending a course here 💚
Really enjoyed John's class! It was very hands-on, and I love my little dish :) The drinks throughout were a nice touch as well
We had a wonderful sessions learning three techniques for clay pots. John was so informative and friendly and we had such a lovely evening. Great value for money too and a lovely space that supports the local community!
Amazing workshop with attentive teachers and the opportunity to create beautiful decorative pieces, 100% recommend!
Great experience, we really enjoyed our time during the class. It was a very pleasant afternoon and would definitely recommend it. The teacher John also made the experience very positive!
Natalie was a great teacher! I took my friend here as a Xmas present and we both really enjoyed ourselves - so nice to do an activity that doesn’t involve screens, I really loved my little kintsugi bowl.
A lovely session! Natalie was so helpful and encouraging as we tried Kintsugi.
Everything was provided included safety glasses and bags to transport our creations.
Great space and location, helpful teacher with the freedom to get on with your work too. Would highly recommend.
My boyfriend and I had a great time at the mosaics class last night. John was a fab host, so warm and friendly and helpful. The activity was incredibly relaxing and we are really pleased with our masterpieces. We even got a cup of tea and a beer during the session! Would definitely recommend for any occasion. Thanks so much John
Absolutely brilliant. Ellie and John were incredibly knowledgeable and the pieces I created were beautiful. I also learnt a lot about the history of kintsugi
Really great way to spend an afternoon. Easy to achieve a finished piece or two under the expert guidance of the group leader ( although very much at ‘beginner level) Feel confident enough to carry on at home and improve my practice. Would highly recommend for anyone regardless of ability or age.
Spent a lovely afternoon learning and doing the art of kintsugi. Our teacher John was very friendly and helpful, providing clear instructions and demonstration and attending to all our needs and questions. The selection of pottery was good, and we had time for 2 to 3 items. Very relaxing and fun in a nice space.
The kintsugi class was absolutely amazing. The staff is super friendly and knowledgeable, the ambience is great. I had a lovely afternoon.
Thoroughly enjoyed the Kintsugi course. Thank you.
A laid back yet productive and enjoyable evening of mosaic craft. Great tuition from John. Inspiring choice of mosaic bits to use and a peaceful yet friendly vibe.
Very good intro to mosaicing, fairly minimal demo/instruction but that left 90% of time for making, with plenty of opportunity for questions & assistance where needed. Good resources, comfortable venue, & a very welcoming/relaxed feel to the evening with drinks etc. provided. Well paced, with achievable outcomes for first timers. Would recommend.
Lovely time making pottery! very instructive and relaxing experience. Really enjoyed it!
Very fun ! Plenty of time to practice and we had all the clay we wanted to create :)
Lovely environment and project. They have snacks and drinks available which is a lovely thought. The teacher was lovely and explained things carefully.
A brilliant session run; talking through the beautiful philosophies and history around Kintsugi & coming out of the session with 2 excellent pieces of re-crafted ceramics. Highly recommend as a solo or as a couple!
Fantastic time learning the three basic techniques for clay sculpting. Best thing I've done in ages.
Such a fun evening workshop! Enjoyable, playful and relaxing in a superb atmosphere, plus you go back home with your own 2 creations after a few glasses a booze to get you in the right mood after a long day at work! That was a total success for us :)
Had a wonderful time learnt a lot about Kintsugi
Cannot recommend enough
Lovely class, great vibe and friendly staff. Would recommend!
I loved it! Class was easy to access and well explained by the teacher Natty. It was a lovely atmosphere with drinks provided and the time flew by. Big thanks

A relaxed and enjoyable evening with encouraging instructors.
Excellent terracotta plant pot session. Really enjoyed it, learned a lot and had some laughs. Instructor John was excellent.
Such a wonderful and well stocked studio. The facilitation was very skilled. Making a memorial mosaic was a really satisfying process.
I had such a lovely evening learning some hand building techniques with John. The venue was easy to get to, the playlist was great, and the session was relaxing. I’m excited to see my pieces come to life after firing. Highly recommend as a date night or with a group of friends. A great alternative to another night at the pub. Five stars!
Such a great mosaicking session! It’s the second time I’ve been and equally as fun as the first. Natty is a really great teacher and the whole evening was very chilled and creative :-)
I’d highly recommend going!
I really enjoyed the session the tutor was so welcoming and friendly. The studio was full of amazing things, clean and we were offers an amazing array of snacks and drinks. I will certainly be booking in for another time.
I had a fantastic time and really enjoyed it!
Great class, very friendly and knowledgeable instructor. Lots of material available. Thanks!
I have learned a lot during this course.
I had such a great time at this session. The instructor, Natti, was very knowledgeable and friendly, and answered all of my questions. She quickly showed us the 3 styles of hand building pottery, allowing the group time to take our time with the styles we were most interested in. The venue and vibe was fantastic, including the playlist. I’ve just got my items back and although I’m not going to quit my day job, I’m impressed at what I was able to accomplish in a short time. Would highly recommend and hope to be back!
I loved making the mosaic and the snacks. The teacher was really kind and helped me.
The best bit was all of it! Can we go again?
A very friendly and welcoming atmosphere in which to learn about and practice mosaics, with lots of helpful tips!
I had such a calming and enjoyable experience at my evening mosaic class. The teacher was fantastic and it was a perfect way to spend an evening - would recommend to anyone!
Great space, super helpful tutor. Creativity and alcohol, what more can you ask for ;)
Gemma was knowledgeable and helpful. She explained everything well and made sure we were all happy with the process of mosaicing our bird box.
The class was good value for money in a nice, large, clean space.
What a fabulous class it was . It has reignited my light for crafting. John is an excellent educator.
My second class with Art4Space in hand clay. Truly enjoyed Natti as our tutor.
I can't wait to receive my three finished pieces!
As it was my second time, it was great that I had already tried all the three techniques last time and could focus this time on the techniques I enjoyed the most.
The workshop was really enjoyable, very relaxed and a perfect way to unwind creatively.
Great experience! The teacher was very nice and knowledgeable, and her explanation of the various techniques we explored was clear and instructive. Very nice atmosphere. I would only suggest that the description on the website should be changed: it promised nibbles which were not there!
What a fantastic evening! I learned new skills, made new friends, and cannot wait to receive my creations in the mail. 100% recommend!!!
I did the cloud mosaic class. The teaching was brilliant, the studio spacious and attractive, the refreshments generous (beer, hot drinks, soft drinks, biccies, fruit), and the mosaic materials incredibly plentiful. The class was also brilliant value. I’m so pleased with what I made and am planning to go back for other workshops. Highly recommended
I love the ‘Drop-in’ classes. It’s a perfect way to spend a couple of hours on a Tuesday. Great teachers and just a lovely atmosphere. Thank you Art4Space!
Natty was a super friendly and encouraging and the time and resources we were given really felt like great value for money. We are going to book again as we want to improve our mosaics and Natty let us leave our pieces to the side so we could do just that! Would definitely recommend, either for just a one off session or to go regularly - thank you and see you again soon!
John was an excellent teacher, very relaxed and knowledgeable, lovely atmosphere and all around wholesome experience. Would thoroughly recommend to anyone regardless of ability.
Fantastic fun! My wife and I loved it :)
I had the best time! The workshop leader was lovely, so the whole class was calming and fun. Despite the relaxed atmosphere, I actually managed to make three whole pieces! Just got them in the mail, and I love them They are by no means perfect, but I'm still proud of them.
What a lovely introduction to mosaics. I came home with a fabulous piece that was a lot of fun to make. I attended this class with 2x friends and we all had a great time doing something creative. John was a delight, patient and knowledgeable. The space itself is well suited for groups (airy and lots of light) and there is so much materials/colours to choose from to create your mosaic you just need to figure out what you want to do (best to have an idea of a small design before the class). The time flies by but John keeps you on track and the offer of a glass of wine (or 2!) makes for a wonderful evening out. Highly recommend.
Very friendly and relaxed class, beautiful setting and studio.
I enjoyed it and will be back 5o try more new projects and classes
Amazing space for creativity and to have a relaxed time.
My friends and I really enjoyed the workshop with John.
He gave great guidance to three techniques, enjoyed a glass of wine with the making, and got stuck in with the clay pieces. Looking forward to receiving my finished pieces!
Will definitely come back for another clay making session!
Great tutor, extremely helpful. Made me feel at ease from the start.
Very relaxing, fun, creative evening with excellent facilitation as always. Great to learn a new skill. Highly recommend.
I love coming to Art4Space. What a great organisation! I really enjoyed my class last night and look forward to coming back to finish my project.
Great tutor, great atmosphere and the chance to make your very own masterpiece 😊
Very relaxing session. Gemma the tutor was great at making us feel relaxed and very welcome. I got to make a rainbow to take home. The studio was a very clean and spacious space. There were also refreshments for us as well. I will certainly be looking out for another workshop to book.
Was a lovely evening. Left feeling better than I came in. Thank you so much :)
Great and well explained workshop.
06/4/23 3hrs 20 mins
This was a fantastic and thoroughly enjoyable workshop. I highly recommend this hand building class. I had lots of fun and learned a lot in the process. The studio was welcoming and had great facilities. The tutor was warm, friendly, very welcoming and knowledgeable. She took the time to explain options, techniques etc throughout the workshop. There was an abundance of materials. I was very proud of what I achieved. I will definitely return very soon.
Really enjoyed this class. Natty was a great teacher. Good value for money I think as there was lots of materials for us to use. Make sure you do something simple as it takes longer than you think and otherwise you need to pay for another full session to finish it
I had a very pleasant evening at Art4Space where I attended a Kintsugi class led by 2 lovely woman. Very nice group of people, great atmosphere. I had fun trying to piece together a piece of pottery, while sipping a glass of wine and eating tea cakes. I’ll definitely recommend Art4Space classes and will try their mosaic classes next.
I loved the workshop and our tutor Natty was really knowledgeable and encouraging
Great session. Attended for the ceramics class and the teacher was helpful, calm and patient. Helped us with suggestions with what we were creating, a really fun session!
I love everything about Art4Space. The venue is gorgeous, the community-centered vision is inspiring, and I’m really enjoying discovering mosaics as an art form.
Brilliant class, I didn’t want it to end. Really good instruction and loads of choice of what you wanted to do and every colour of tile you could want.
Such a good workshop. We were taught how to use multiple tools, they have so many different mosaic tiles and given inspiration books (if needed). Definitely recommend the mosaics workshop to anyone!
such a good class, honestly couldn’t fault it
apart from the chairs, why are they so high! my back is in pieces this morning
Booked with John. Really nice venue, warm and welcoming. Very helpful and supportive good for beginners/intro as well as for people who want to experiment with mosaics that may have tried it before
Great selection of glass and ceramic pieces to choose from. Instructor was super friendly and helpful. I'm happy with what I made - I'll use it as a trivet!
The mosaic class with Natalie was a fantastic experience. She was really welcoming, knowledgeable and patient. It was also a lovely atmosphere in the studio, with lots of materials and techniques to inspire your creativity. We will surely return!
What a wonderful experience! I would highly recommend taking a class at Art 4 Space if you need some calm creative time in an environment with incredibly welcoming gentle people. Plus, you get take take home your creations to treasure (or chuckle at) for evermore!
Thoroughly enjoyed this. Great tutors. Learned something I had never done before and took home something I was proud of. When I walked into the studio I was like wow such a great vibe. Will book again and maybe gift one of these workshops to a friend.
Have done this class with John twice now and I thoroughly enjoyed it. It's a lovely studio with great chilled music, drinks, including a glass of wine if you want one! John is a lovely and very patient teacher who will guide you if you are a beginner or have worked with clay before. He is very knowledgeable with clay and glazes etc. It's really relaxing and I highly recommend this for a night out with friends or coming alone to meet new people and being creative. I will be back!
Such a lovely and small class, led by Natti! Would 100% recommend to anyone for a lowkey and relaxing evening. I'll definitely be considering the longer courses!
I found Art4Space as a very friendly, welcoming and safe environment. I have never worked with clay before - it was new and a very fun experience for me. Nice, friendly and relaxing atmosphere in the room made it easy for me to chat to other participants and make new colleagues - loved that. It was a great opportunity to do something creative. John, the teacher of our pinch pot making classes was very kind, helpful and knowledgeable. Looking forward to visit Art4Space again.
Fantastic session. Lovely environment. Session leaders were lovely and so welcoming. I will certainly be doing more of these workshops.
Booked a class for me and my friend as her birthday present. Had such a fun time. The teacher John was really helpful and taught her how to use the tools. There are a large supply of beautiful tiles that we were able to use. Would highly recommend and am going to look on doing more lessons to create a bigger mosaic!!
A fantastic beginners class to learn the basics of mosaic making.. tutor was lovely and very helpful, the choice of materials to use was phenomenal and the atmosphere was fab with music playing in the background and a choice of drinks. Worth every penny.
Absolutely brilliant class. The tutor was really kind and welcoming and very experienced. Left feeling relaxed and inspired. I’m signing up for more classes.
A friendly space and a competent teacher, the hours flew by. Definitely recommended.
Excellent evening. Was fun to do something different in a beautiful venue. Will definitely be coming back.
I really enjoyed the evening, the atmosphere was really relaxing, friendly and fun! Most of us managed to make some nice artwork to bring home.
I absolutely loved this mosaics class. Our teacher was wonderful, really friendly, helpful and encouraging. The class was very relaxed and it was a great atmosphere to work in. We were provided with all of the tools and equipment needed to create a beautiful piece of art that we were able to take home on the same day. And it's a very reasonable price for a great class and the teacher's expertise. I would happily return for another class or even sign up for the longer course. Thank you
Super! Such a wonderful class with excellent teachers who were really helpful and friendly.
I bought this class for myself and my partner as a gift and we both thoroughly enjoyed it. The studio space is lovely and spacious. John was our instructor and was very welcoming and friendly. The glass of wine offered was a lovely touch although I forgot to drink it as I was so engrossed in the mosaic. We're both very pleased with how the mosaics have turned out. Definitely will go back again.
Lovely evening spent mosaic-ing. John was so welcoming and taught us a lot of useful skills! Will be back soon :)
Great class, lovely staff and so enjoyable. Made some lovely items with guidance and enjoyed all the plentiful resources to be found in the studio. Highly recommend.
Most people are finding themselves sometimes with extra time on their hands… what better way to spend it than by learning a new skill and socialising with new people 🌺
Yesterday i joined mosaic class …Its one of my favorite classes
I attended 4 times and in each and every time i learn something new and a different technique in using the tiles
In my last class the teacher was Bitty
She is very welcoming and helpful and I would like to attend another class with her
Nouf Mubarak
From kuwait 🌺
It was a really easy going class, with lots of freedom and the teacher was great.
I maybe would have liked some more guidance or showing some ready made examples of mosaic's as I didn't know what to start designing!
Fantastic class and a really well stocked workshop. I was so relaxed whilst creating my mosaic and it looks great. Really nice space, we'll set up and I look forward to going back
Really enjoyed my mosaic class, expertly led by Ellie. The studio is a fantastic space.
Beautiful Experience
I enrolled for the one class taster session and came away with a mosaic that only needs grouting! A fantastic class, so much was achieved in just a few hours. I will be signing up for the 5 week course. The ethos behind Art4space is wonderful and tutors are too.
I had a wonderful experience on my initial visit and immediately signed up for the 5 session course! Mosaics is an art form that I have been wanting to have a go at for a long time and the atmosphere that the tutors, volunteers as well as the other attendess have created at Art4space has really nurtured and facilitated my creativity. My friend has also joined and completed a piece on her first visit! I have found an amazing new skill that I love.
Very fun and relaxed class! Our teacher Nattie was really clear and helpful, thank you!
It was a lovely experience and time just whooshed by. I'd suggest they minimize the instructions time to get participants to crack on quickly with making the art 🤗
It was great to return to the class and continue a project I started the first week. Once again very helpful teacher and relaxed atmosphere.
Lovely class with great teacher. Very relaxed for total beginners or longer projects.
I had lovely time creating my mosaic tile and definitely want to return for more classes.

Another great class. Good to have a different teacher with different experiences to share. Very friendly.
Great class, lovely teacher and very flexible about helping you with your ideas. Plus lots of materials to use.
Great!
This class was wonderful. The course leader was knowledgeable, friendly and helpful. The Covid measures were excellent. The range of resources to choose from was extensive.
I attended with my daughter and we enjoyed doing a creative activity together.
I was so absorbed in creating my mosaic that all my stress disappeared.
All that and a glass of wine too. I highly recommend this class and will be going back to do more!
Great workshop. I really enjoyed the Mosaic Class. Fantastic teacher and a nice place. Highly recommended!
Very welcoming atmosphere and excellent hands-on advice how to create your own masterpiece - how to work with the tools, different materials, composition, etc. The course length is sufficient to create something amazing, even as a complete beginner. I really enjoyed doing my mosaic - it's like doing a jigsaw puzzle but better! And it's all for a good cause, too. Keep up the good work!
This workshop was excellent. Friendly, enjoyable and immersive. So relaxing. The workshop leader was helpful, knowledgeable and encouraging.
It was a really fun evening and excellent value for money.I will definitely return.
Highly recommend.
Great atmosphere and teaching. Felt well supported throughout and thrilled with the mosaic I came away with. Would definitely recommend this class and attend again.
So fun! The teacher was really welcoming and wore v cool dungarees. Such a chilled atmosphere, wine and hummus, what’s not to love
This was our first time visiting and we had a great time! None of us are particularly arty but
What a wonderful class! The space is great, where you can let your creativity fly. But what made this a truly special class, was out lovely instructor. Thank you!
Really enjoyed the class. They had so many different tile options to choose from. The size of class was good as it gave the teacher enough time to give guidance and helpful suggestions to each individual. I would have gotten more done if I had an idea of what I wanted to create before the class. Time flies when you’re having fun!
I did a one off class during the evening (6.30pm - 9.00pm) and really enjoyed the class.
The teacher (Aliya) was absolutely lovely. Friendly, patient and really encouraging. The first half hour was spent practising using the cutters and how to space, and then she let us get on with our designs.
There were a few people who had been there before and were working on bigger, more intricate pieces too.
Everyone looked really happy and it was a great way to spend an evening. I was absolutely delighted with how my creation turned out.
Art4Space was very generous with what tiles and tools you can use, and there were even refreshments on offer.
Would thoroughly recommend!
Great class. Many useful tips. In one lesson you can already learn the basics to create your own mosaic. Thank you art4space!
Excellent class. Really friendly and supportive group. A beautiful space.
Absolutely loved this class! Really lovely venue and nice instructor, super chilled, will definitely go back!
Very relaxing class and well run. It was a nice balance of allowing your own creativity and also providing great advice. Thank you!
Wonderful class! There were so much ceramic and glass tiles to choose from and the teacher was lovely. Remember to bring a simple design in mind ahead of the class so you can get started straight away.
Really nice atmosphere and supportive environment.
Great class, teacher was fab. I found it a bit challenging, and she really helped me with the vision and to get it finished in time. Great sociable thing to do with friends with a glass of wine and snacks provided too.
Fun and relaxed session, I really enjoyed the hands on approach to just let creativity guide my first attempts!
Amazing selection of tiles, really nice quiet atmosphere, will definitely be back!
Lovely class. Very relaxed atmosphere... I mean what's not to love about an open, creative space with friendly people and a glass of wine!
This class was my introduction to Mosaic and I can say that it was more than I expected. Studio is wonderful and easy to find. In the studio there were thoughtful snacks and drinks. I very much enjoyed making mosaic and the class was quiet therapeutic. I will be back and I will be recommending this class to others.
Great class! Really well organised and an excellent introduction to mosaics. Would highly recommend.
The class was sublime! This was my first experience of mosaics and there were others there who had been before and were working on their pieces. Natty, our tutor, was patient, knowledgable, very encouraging and had great snacks! The workshop was a veritable feast for the eyes with plenty of inspiration from the many mosaics displayed and the seemingly never ending supply of tiles in every single colour you could imagine. Natty’s instructions were easy to follow and she was on hand all the time. She has great energy. I came away with my own masterpiece. A great class pitched perfectly for all abilities.
Had a great time - really good instruction and made a lovely mosaic!
Well worth the money.
We were given complete freedom in the studio the use anything we wanted and make anything we wanted. Lovely experience and cannot recommend it enough. It is about enough time to make two items or one really detailed item
Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. We had a lovely glass of wine, snacks and the opportunity to explore books/mosaics to get ideas before making our own. We were able to practise, so that we felt confident when coming to mosaic our own tile.
Very interesting!
What a great set-up! I went with a friend to the one off evening workshop. We have both come away with beautiful tiles. You are supplied with a glass of wine or a soft drink for the evening and the choice of decorative chips to break up and decorate your tile with is huge. Really loved it.
An excellent class where I made two mosaic tiles. There in an amazing array of glass and ceramics to cut and make your design. I haven't got round to grouting them yet but am confident that I will achieve a great result.
I booked this class with a work friend and we went in totally open minded with no expectations. We were welcomed so warmly (on a freezing cold Thurs evening) by Natalie who was super friendly and offered us some drinks while we settled into our space. The introduction was so informing, easy-to-grasp and perfectly timed. We were able to get stuck in right away which was great! Natty explained the use of the tools and different types of tiles very well while reminding us of safety. We worked on creating different shapes and she assisted each one of us individually when we got stuck (which was often) and totally made us at ease when we got frustrated trying to get it right. We got to design our own tile with mosaic using our own ideas. Natty was so sweet to stay behind way past the finishing time to let us complete our mosaic and she helped us complete it to ensure we left with a complete piece as well as giving us the grout to fill in at home with full instructions. Hands down I would recommend this to anyone who wants to have a bit of fun while doing something relaxing especially after a long day at work... 11 out of 10 from me!
My friend and I really enjoyed the workshop. The teacher was great, really enthusiastic and interested in what we were making. She was kind enough to stay back an extra 30-40 minutes after the class, so that we could complete our mosaic tile. I will definitely recommend this class! 5 star from me!
We were bought a taster season as a wedding gift and had a great time. The class was very relaxed and welcoming. There were loads of materials to use and the teacher was very supportive. I’d fully recommend this class
It was so nice. I enjoy a lot. My first Mosaic time in my life. So many various tile I can use. Many different colours. I have some trouble find here with City mapper. But I enjoyed class!
This was a fantastic workshop for me, a complete beginner! The teacher was great, really enthusiastic and interested in what we were making. The environment was relaxed and welcoming. I learned a lot of valuable techniques and skills in a really short amount of time. Highly recommend to anyone interested in making their own mosaic tile.
Great class! Very relaxed and the teacher was really friendly and helpful :)
Great way to unwind, friendly environment, wine and snacks provided too!
Good class
The class was well run, in a nice space and by a knowledgeable teacher. I would definitely recommend it for some chilled out creative time.
The class was a great chance to enjoy a creative evening in an informal setting. The Tuesday evening time and location were also ideal for a post-work crafting session. A brief explanation on cutting and mosaic-ing was given, and we were then free to design and create the mosaic tile as we wished.
I took my mum to the mosaics making class for a birthday present and we both had such a lovely evening. The teacher, Louise, was really friendly and enthusiastic, the studio is a beautiful inspiring space to create away an evening in. Hugely recommend!
Amazing class love it and the teachers were amazing
what a relaxing experience!Friendly and helpful tutors, huge amount of resources!
The class was relaxed and I feel that I received a perfect amount of direction - not helicopter teaching but there was help if needed. I'm pleased with my tile!
Class was very good and leaned what I wanted would recommend to friends the teacher was very good and exlpaned all the way .
Ellie was a great trainer and took us through everything really well so that we felt confident with the skills fast. She even shared some of the work she does with local schools. It was relaxing, the music was great, and the drinks were a nice touch
Really great class I've been before and really enjoy it i'd go again
Good fun and a great class. It felt a little rushed at the end to get everything finished but I enjoyed my time.
Really relaxing and enjoyable, great teacher!
The class was very good! I learnt how to cut tiles, plan a design and then glue the tiles together. I got a kit to take home and grout my piece with, then it’s all ready! I wish there was a continuation class!
Great class and great discovery for this new hobby and/or passion. The Host was gave such a warm welcome and invited us to visit the venue.
They do such amazing projects there and I love that I pushed myself to discover all this new world.
I already a book a class for next week and invited a firend of mine to share this experience and thinking to start a proper course in September.
They also organize birthday, Hen parties.. and so may diversified activities.
I would definitely recommend to anyone!

Very clear instructions and you can get stuck in straight away. It was nice to walk away with a completed piece (you do have to grout the tile at home but this is quite straight forward). A glass of wine and some nibbles were provided which was a nice touch.
Nice relaxed atmosphere, an enjoyable evening making mosaics!
Had a great time yesterday! Variety of tiles, mosaics and china to choose from. Also the studio env is very nice. Great way to spend a couple of creative hours. Highly recommended!
This was a great taster session at the right level for a total beginner. An amazing treasure trove of tiles and trinkets to use. Really enjoyable.
I enjoyed this class & love my mosaic tile. I was a bit rushed at the end but the tutor helped me finish my piece. At times could've done with a bit more direction. It was a lovely setting and so many bits of glass and ceramics to choose from and lots of inspiring pieces around the place!
Very interesting! Élie is a very good teacher which helped me improved my cutting technique almost instantly.
There is also an impressive collection of tiles to sparkle your curiosity!
I will definitely return

One of the best classes I have ever attended 😍❤️
Lots of different types of tiles and colours to work with and the teacher was great!
Really enjoyed the class. Something a little different to my usual Tuesday evening!
I have been first time in mosaic class. Very good and friendly atmosphere. Glass of wine and I started create my own mosaic. I am absolutely relaxed and forgot about my problems. I liked class. It was really good experience to feell your talants.
fun class, lovely teacher, very pleased with the result! Would recommend this class. Venue is nice too.
Amazing class, great teacher and very lovely and creative atmosphere, I loved it!
Thank you!
Funclass, great guidance by the teacher and the tea/biscuits/wine were a nice touch. Very recommended
I really enjoyed the class, and I'm really pleased with the mosaic tile I made! The course leader was encouraging and helpful, with just the right amount of tuition to get us started. I was also able to use some shells I'd brought with me. I'd hoped to make a photo frame but a mosaic tile was the only option - I didn't mind, so I didn't feel the need to ask if we could make any other item. There were plenty of materials and colours available, with books for inspiration. It helped to have an idea of the colours and design I wanted to make beforehand. The glass of wine and snacks were a bonus and the venue is great. It's worth noting that there's not time to grout your design (and you'd want the glue to dry beforehand anyway) so you are given a little grouting kit to do it at home.
An enjoyable and supported first time mosaic experience. There is an abundance of materials to choose from and be creative with. Great to see the different projects being worked on in the class. I plan to return to complete a larger mosaic/tile project.
Lovely evening and lots of materials to choose from.
One more hour would have been great:)
I really enjoyed this mosaic class. There was a friendly atmosphere and the session was well facilitated. It was my first time trying mosaic making but still managed to go home with a lovely handmade gift that I was really pleased with! It was a fun evening!
Did the taster mosaic and tile making class and it was so much fun! Everyone was super friendly, the people doing the longer courses are also there and you get to see the cool stuff they have been doing which is quite encouraging.! Eli the teacher is a total vibe, making you feel comfortable to explore your creativity yet guiding you when needed without feeling like you’re an outcast as it’s your first time.
Thouroughly enjoyed it and will definitely be back. Thank you!!
Great session. Learned how to cut tiles for mosaic making, and then had time to make own design on a tile, well supported by the teacher, and with plenty of colourful and beautiful resources available. Finished it at home - am so excited - it looks great ! Thanks for this experience !
An absolutely wonderful experience all round. A fantastic environment, warm welcome and very well organised. Enough instruction to safely get started and proactive encouragement and help to ensure we all got a really nice result to take home. Materials were plentiful, the atmosphere was supportive and enthusiastic - I didn’t want to leave!100% recommend and also an very chuffed with my mosaic tile!
Really enjoyed my mosaic taster session. Lots of choice and really helpful guidance meant that I left with a mosaic that I’m really happy with. The session was run alongside the longer 5 or 10 week classes so was nice to see what is achievable with a bit more time/expertise.
Good intro to cutting tiles and glass, and flexible approach from the tutors, who are artists so have a hood eye for creating stuff. The only thing I think they missed was safety info; they seemed to not be very into the idea of people wearing protective glasses and didn't let anyone know where the first aid kit was; a few people had minor cuts and I felt they were slightly too relaxed about the health and safety aspects - there were no serious injuries but it would be really easy for a bit of glass shoots into someones eye in this environment.
I loved this experience. The people were lovely, the atmosphere was relaxed and I really enjoyed making a mosaic. I would like to go back soon!
Really great place to learn Mosaic, lots of material to hand really enjoyed it, would go again
I enjoyed so much coming every Thursday to hang out with the group and to discover the artsy part of me that I never though I had on me. So, yes, I'd recommend it to anyone!
Really fun, staff were friendly and happy to guide designs. worth it!
