I started the class not knowing what to do or having any experience with clay (or art). But I came away feeling proud of what I made and the teachers were a major part of that. I had a lot of fun and would love to do another class again soon!

I had a really fun time at Art-K designing and building a clay pot. Learnt techniques such as using slip and coils to create the structure of my pot. Just a really calming/welcoming atmosphere in which to learn and relax!

A very welcoming class, and Zoe, the teacher is incredibly friendly and supportive. We started by practicing drawing, and then moving on to explore painting with watercolours. The teacher explained the course clearly, and there is great flexibility: you can take the course wherever your interests lie or let them help you decide! No prior art experience is required: it’s a nice, friendly, low-pressure environment where you can learn and practice art.

I learned how to use different types of pencils for sketching, and how to use water colour paints do to start painting a woodland scene I picked out to copy. This was my first art class since school (over 25 years ago) but the teacher made me feel very comfortable just to have a go. She really has a knack with drip feeding just the right amount of guidance at a time. I highly recommend these classes!

sweet intimate venue at the independent quirky end of Clapham Common (great deli nearby). Had a 90 minute session where I sketched a pebble and then picked a Hockney to replicate - Zoe was a great tutor gently suggesting ways to improve my shading, improve my scaling and general tips on how to blend the paints. Made me feel really comfortable despite me having a painting age of a six year old. Loved it so much I signed up for the term is one of the highlights of my week. Three weeks in my canvas is still not complete / but the fun is in the journey, not just the destination!

Fantastic little art studio in Clapham. Zoe, who manages the studio is an excellent teacher, she has a wonderfully warm and friendly manner and from the minute I walked in I felt welcomed. She is patient and explains things in a way that inspire you to try out and experiment with new techniques. Having not picked up a brush in decades I am so happy I’ve found this set up and will definitely be a regular from now on. Thank you Zoe & team.

Great class, I would 100% recommend it. Zoe is extremely helpful and reassuring and provides you with all the help you need but also gives you the freedom to work on your own if you would like and gives you a great range of options in terms of things to work on. I now have signed up to the weekly classes!

I am on the 2nd week of my course with Art K, what an amazing way to spend an evening after a busy day. What I love is that I don't feel under any pressure unlike other courses I have been to, but I know someone is really interested in my way of drawing and gently helping me to see thing differently Love it

Was a great drop in session, lovely teacher, and helpful tips. I just about came out with a completed painting, but could have done with an extra half an hour! I really enjoyed it though.

I took an adult art class with Zoe Kozyakis in Clapham. It was a great experience. The small studio was well laid out and the chairs and tables were comfortable. There were ample art supplies .. pens, paints, papers, etc. and great art ideas. You could choose your medium and also choose what you wanted to base it from...a magazine or print-out from the studio or your own picture. I like the fact that there was not a set schedule. There were about five of us in the class and everyone was working on something different. The ladies were friendly and I enjoyed the company. Zoe walked around the room and made sure we were getting the help we needed but didn't intrude if we were doing well on our own. As I listen to her instruct others as well as myself I saw what an excellent teacher she is. My piece turned out much better than it would have without her help. I don't live in the area but if I did I would be taking her class every week! I've been to several art classes and hers was definitely the best.

I am a beginner in art but I felt instantly very welcome in this art class and Zoe knows perfectly how to make you feel comfortable with what you are doing. You can be as much autonomous as you want, otherwise Zoe is always here to give you advice and share good creatives vibes! I will definitely continue to attend this class!

Had a lovely evening learning brush calligraphy and making cards at art-k Clapham. Zoe is very welcoming and knowledgeable, and everyone got individual time from her. She gave me some tips on what pens she uses, as well as some Instagram accounts to follow for more hand lettering aspiration! We learnt some watercolour techniques, too. Definitely recommend art-k and Zoe!

Would recommend this class to everyone! Zoe is a great teacher and made it both fun and inspiring. She taught the class really well so we were all able to grasp the different calligraphy styles, and find our own!.The class is well stocked- lots of lovely art materials to play around with., and a great social activity. Thank you Zoe!
