I got absorbed into all the artists I never knew about on the tour and the class was really layed back. The techniques were all useful if you've never spray painted before. For anyone who wants to learn a little more about hidden gems in London or try giving spray painting a go, I would recommend highly.
It was good fun, the tour was instructive (in the rain unfortunately…) and the class was just 4 of us. Lots of space to experiment. It was more difficult to us the spray paint than I had anticipated!
This graffiti workshop and tour was very informative and worth every penny.... I took my 12 year old son as a surprise and he loved it, especially the workshop with Josh, who knows his stuff, and created a very welcoming, fun, safe, creative environment for us to explore our spray paint talents in! Ideal as a gift or a day to chill out and be creative....
Thankyou for a wicked day and creating a memory.... Will be back soon with friends!

Had a great time on the graffiti tour and workshop. I recommend this to anyone who's interested in the arts
It was the most amazing tour and workshop! Natalie was superb and encouraged us all in our designs. Really recommend as a wonderful outing.
Absolutely amazing day. An informative and eye opening tour of some of London’s best street art followed by a chance to do some graffiti of our own. My son (11) and I loved every minute!
The tour was absolutely fantastic, such a lovely tour guide. Really enjoyed playing with graffiti in the workshop session too! Would recommend in a heartbeat!
I definitely can recommend Graffity workshop with Street Art tour. Excursion was very interesting , we saw and analyzed the best graffitis of the East End of London. During the workshop everyone could feel like an artist and was able to make their own graffiti. My children forced me go to this tour with workshop (I didn't really want to go there), but I liked it so much and now I understand that is was the most interesting and unforgettable day during my vacation in London!
We did both - the tour and the workshop. 1 adult and 3 teenage kids. We all loved it! Josh was extremely knowledgeable and explained everything in a very clear and concise way. He sprinkled in lots of little anecdotes which gave us a good idea of the whole scene and the development of the movement.
The practical part was great fun and Josh was very helpful and patient and inspired us all. Excellent teacher! Would highly recommended for tourists but also for Londoners!
Had the best time on the tour and workshop, loved making the stencil and experimenting with graffiti. Josh was really knowledgeable and engaging. Totally recommend, good vibez.
We booked for 3 adults and 4 kids, and I cannot say who enjoyed it most. Given the transient nature of street art, the walking tour is of course different every time, and our guide was endlessly knowledgeable about the street artists we saw (and infinitely patient!). The highlight for us was the chance to create our own tags, which was so much fun. Highly recommended.
Fantastic walking tour with knowledgeable and enthusiastic tour guide. Then on to the best bit - a chance to create our own tags and spray some walls. Everyone loved it - kids and adults alike.
Great tour and workshop - highly recommend!
Hi there,
Josh was fantastic, very knowledgeable and a genuine real passion for the art form. Massively exceeded expectations. I will highly recommend to everyone I know! Thanks Josh!

We (me and my 13 y/o nephew) did the street art tour with Josh and found it be really interesting and enlightening. His passion and knowledge comes through very strongly. The graffiti workshop afterwards was fun too, and we got a good initial grounding into how to use cans and stencils. Would definitely recommend.
My daughter is now a CRIMINAL, thanks 😁😁😁 jokes!! no, it was it was really good, lots of tips and really effective teaching . The tour was interesting and eye opening to things we just walk pass everyday
This was a great way to spend the day. Highly recommend doing the workshop as you get a better understanding of how hard the art is
Fun, informative tour! Josh was great.
Really fun your! I’ve recommended to all of my friends
The tour and workshop were great, really enjoyed the day. We now even spotted the same graffiti artists in other cities, and were able to identify their style.
The workshop was ok.. The artist leading it was a bit moody and snappy.
One of my fave weekend events on obby. Excellent class. Josh from Alternative London was so knowledgeable and I left with an even greater appreciation and love of graffiti art. I would definitely do this tour again. I have also started listening to their podcast. The tour also ticks the fitness box for getting your 10,000steps a day.
We had a great street art tour and graffiti workshop. Meeting point was easy to find. Our guide/tutor was Josh who was fantastic; knowledgeable and helpful. Tour was a nice steady pace, with lots of interesting facts and information. The workshop was great fun. We were completely new to this but with Josh’s support and enthusiasm we were pleased with our results. Plenty of time was given and clear instructions. The workshop is in a great space. We would highly recommend doing both as we had so much fun and came away having learnt a lot.
Wow! What a wonderful tour of street art on Brick Lane. I learned so much about the different types of street art from tagging to masterpieces. Making my very own piece of stenciled graffiti was so much fun and I loved learning the process too. What a treat! I highly recommend it.
Fabulous, I learnt so much about the history and progression of street art, and I learned to look at it differently. The workshop was really good fun, I had no idea how quickly you could build a design. Having a tutor with lived experience of the art form and culture made all the difference.
Amazing day out! The walking tour was super engaging and interesting, it flew by. By the time we got to the workshop we were really inspired by all the art we’d seen. Lots of fun to give it a go. Josh was a fantastic guide and teacher. Highly recommend!
What an awesome day! Our guide & teacher Josh Was incredibly knowledgeable and enthusiastic he toured us around the most East End amazing artwork , educating us on the various styles, influences and history of graffiti.
The variety of pieces we saw was vast and i can genuinely say we could never have found the majority of them by ourselves.
Fully loaded on inspiration after the 2 hour walking your we headed to a studio and cut our own stencils before letting rip on an indoor art wall each with the spray cans. My daughter and I had the best time. Total beginners yet we came away feeling like we’d achieved something .
I would highly recommend this this anyone who enjoys cool aesthetics and getting creative.
Thankyou Josh
It’s ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ from us x
Amazing guided tour in East End by passionate and super-knowledgeable Gary. The workshop was great fun too. 100% would recommend to a friend!
The best tour I have done for a long time. Fun and thought provoking.
Brilliant tour of street art/ grafitti in The East End. Learnt about street art/ Graf and paste ups and saw things we never would have noticed. Then excellent chance to have a go at the workshop. Highly recommended and Gary is a great guide. Went with 2 teenagers and they learnt a lot and loved it.
Gary was a great tour lead.
The tour mixed local history and graffiti knowledge. The tour was perfectly paced and the workshop at the end was the perfect finale to the afternoon.
I would highly recommend it to all
Great tour, Josh was incredibly knowledgeable about the local area and wider street art history. He made the tour and information shared super interesting with good questions - all very engaging. Workshop was a lot of fun too and good instructions on how to make marks with spray paint. Definitely recommend the tour and workshop if you’ve an interest in understanding street art better.
Really informative, would recommend 100%
Fantastic all around!
We HIGHLY recommend this easy-breezy art tour! Super fun and interesting - great for adults and kids. The graffiti workshop was excellent, too - we could have stayed all day! We will definitely be back. Big thank you to Gary for the tour and workshop and Jenny for helping to answer our questions beforehand.
Brilliant Covid-safe activity for adults and kids!
Very authentic tour of Street Art. Josh was a brilliant guide, very passionate and explained the political side of street art extremely well. The graffiti workshop was fun but mean the session was a bit long and the set up wasn't ideal. Bring snacks and warm clothes!
Absolutely brilliant!! We had such a great day. Our guide Gary was fab, very knowledgeable and friendly. We learnt a lot and went home with some great art. Would definitely recommend, in fact already have!!
Phenomenal class! If you are questioning whether to do the tour or the tour + class I highly recommend doing the addition of the class!!! It is one of the best classes I have had in London. The class shows you that it is a LOT harder than it looks but also makes you feel like an artist when you leave. Thanks, Josh!
Emilie is a great guide and teacher!
The tour was really interesting and the workshop very fun !
Please mind that the meeting point that Obby sends when confirming the booking is not correct, and I ended up in the wrong place, losing some time of the tour. Make sure to check with Alt Ldn the right address to meet for the tour.
Did the street art tour + graffiti workshop with my boyfriend this weekend and it was really cool. We learned a lot about the history of the East side of London and how street art is part of that history. We discovered a lot of amazing works that we had never noticed although we had passed by them many times before. The workshop was super fun and our guide/teacher was the nicest! Highly recommend.
I got absorbed into all the artists I never knew about on the tour and the class was really layed back. The techniques were all useful if you've never spray painted before. For anyone who wants to learn a little more about hidden gems in London or try giving spray painting a go, I would recommend highly.
