What is the Obby marketplace?
The Obby marketplace is the largest single source of student demand for classes in the UK. Your classes will automatically be synced to the marketplace and you will benefit from increased marketing and new customers on top of those from your own marketing efforts. On our free & lite accounts your fees are 17.5% (+ payment processing) and this is reduced to 12.5% for Standard and higher accounts. Read more about it here.
Do I have to use the Obby payment gateway?
Yes, because it is better and more cost effective for our teachers. We have spent years building the most optimised payment experience for customers that has an extremely high conversion rate. We also make sure you benefit from volume pricing meaning the payment processing is fixed at 2.5% vs. the market average of 3%-5% (Paypal etc.)
