1.5 hour workshop
This is a hands-on workshop where you will learn to develop the film yourself. This course is suitable for everyone, both the inexperienced and also those who would like a refresher lesson.Your teacher will take you through the whole process step by step. Youʼll also be learning about the various techniques of film developing, the types of chemicals that can be used, different types of film available and the results they can produce. All the chemistry and equipment will be provide. Just bring your undeveloped 35mm or 120mm black & white film!

Bright Rooms is an open access darkroom, offering analogue photography courses based in Peckham at the Peckham Levels. Further to the darkroom we have a program of events, exhibitions, talks, workshops and educational outreach. Bright Rooms is run by practicing photographers who are passionate about sharing their knowledge. Our workshops allow you to experience analogue photography for the very first time, learn to develop you darkroom knowledge or take your photography to the next level with one of our Artist Series classes.
