The three-hour workshop teaches the fundamentals of this fascinating darkroom process, enabling you to create your own unique photograms.

Taking inspiration from old masters and contemporary artists, the workshop starts with a brief history of the technique and the contexts in which it has been used.

Following a practical introduction and demonstration, the session explores the creative possibilities that this simple interaction of light, objects and light sensitive paper offers.

Things to remember

Please come with a collection of objects to make Photograms with. Anything with an interesting outline/shape works well, preferably something that will lie relatively flat under glass. Translucent things also work well, as do detailed objects like lace, feathers, flowers etc.
