You'll learn the three pillars of the Wim Hof Method: Breathing, Cold Exposure and Commitment.
The workshop begins with an introduction to the method and it's background. Participants will learn about the scientific studies applied to the method, and the science behind why it works.
You will also experience stretching and movement, a dynamic breathwork session, guided meditation and gradual exposure to the cold, culminating in a refreshing ice bath! All led by a certified Wim Hof Method instructor and yoga and meditation teacher.
Bring comfy clothes, a swimming costume, a towel, and a notebook to take notes!
Heather Gordon Athié is a certified Wim Hof Method Instructor and Yoga and meditation teacher. She has trained in Poland and in the Netherlands with Wim himself. Having trained in ice bathing over ten weeks, bathed in snow, jumped into icy waterfalls and summited Mount Sněžka in her underwear twice, she knows full well the power of cold meditation. Heather currently teaches yoga, meditation, and breathwork, runs healing spaces at festivals and facilitates workshops with people who want to learn more about the Wim Hof Method and its potential health benefits all over the world.
