    About this class

    Everyone should be able to make gluten free pasta at home, and after this class you will know how to! On top of it all, no previous experience in pasta making, or gluten free cooking, is required! This class is about more than just ticking the boxes and following a recipe. Its about learning how to balance a healthy, gluten free lifestyle with some absolutely delicious pasta. Win-win right?


    Did you know

    Pasta was part of the TV’s first April Fool’s Day hoax. On 1st April 1957, the BBC aired a faux documentary claiming that spaghetti grew on trees and the gullible British public fell for it as they saw bogus footage of a woman harvesting noodles from spaghetti trees in Switzerland.


    In this class

    A certified natural chef will teach how to cook with gluten free flour, where to find gluten free ingredients and talk about what flavours go best with gluten free pastas. Get to try out some cooking techniques and taste your creations. Pasta is not as hard to make as you think.

    No need to bring anything but your fabulous self. Your lovely chef Ceri, will bring everything you need and guide you through these great recipes.

    Ceri Jones, a natural chef, is passionate about healthy food and nutrition. She completed her professional training at Bauman College of Holistic Nutrition and Culinary Arts, in 2014. As well as teaching at the school she is a food and recipe writer and yoga retreat chef. And an all round lovely lady.

    The Avenue Cookery School is a family-run leaning business based in Wandsworth in South West London. The owner and head chef Diana began her career as a chalet chef before discovering her entrepreneurial side and founding a number of specialist food ventures. Infamously, Diana taught at The Grange Cookery School in Somerset for 7 years before starting The Avenue, where she has been ever since.

    Diana is supported by her son Richard and daughter Sophie.

    The food at The Avenue can be considered classic chic but full of fun twists and turns (ranging from macaroon masterclasses to gluten free baking to simple supper classes). All the classes are taught in the school's beautiful kitchen facilities in a relaxed environment.
