A really enjoyable evening with a fantastic array of herbs to learn about & choose from for our planters. We ended up creating two pots - one for cooking, one for cocktails! A lovely workshop to do with friends, with Violet proving to be a fun & knowlegeable host.

I was really excited to attend this class as I have an interest in cooking and am always keen to grow from scratch and use fresh wherever possible. I have a lot of houseplants so thought I had a good basic knowledge of plants, but I learnt a lot more than I was expecting to! In particular the best way to pot plants and how to keep them healthy all year round. I was also really keen to learn about various recipes that can be used in cocktails as I love to try new things. The host was very welcoming, she is obviously very knowledgable with a real obvious passion for plants, she managed to answer all the questions that the group put forward. The big mumma planter that you plant during the session is great value for money, and all my herbs are thriving . All in all a lovely evening with interesting company and I would definitely recommend attending.

I learnt so much about herbs and soil without realising it as I was having such a good time. My herbs are still growing at home so the teaching has worked, having the planted pot to take home is a nice reminder of the lessons. The atmosphere in the class was really friendly, I came alone as did some others but there were groups and couples on birthday celebrations too which was fun. The cocktails are fab, all home made and give you a ‘taste’ of the different herbs flavours. Venue was lovely, sitting amongst the greenery. Location meant there was plenty to do before and after aswell and everyone commented on how nice the loos were too . I’ll be booking vouchers for friends as gifts and looking for an opportunity to do another class as soon as I can.
