Daytime

Bring your little ones aged 6-11 to this group workshop where they will learn how to make their own pottery pumpkin tea light holder!

The class will start with learning a bit about the clay and getting used to the material.

Then there will be a demo and step by step instructions on how to make a pumpkin tea light holder using the pinch pot technique. Then it’s time to get creative - tools and paint will be provided for decorating and carving in whichever way your little one wants!

Careful guidance and instruction will be given throughout the whole session plus there will be teas and coffees for parents/carers so you can watch while the magic happens!

This class will run over 1 and a half hours and at the end the clay pieces will be held at the studio so that they can be fired and glazed ready to be collected at a later date.

Candy has worked with a wide range of students from young children, people with learning disabilities, mature students and people living with dementia. Candy’s teaching style is tailored to the individuals needs, in a relaxed and friendly environment.

With both group sessions and one to one sessions available, you are sure to find a class to suit you.
