I really enjoyed the marker sketching class, having never attempted it before. It was a small class so we got loads of attention and pointers. I loved the doughnut we sketched then coloured, it came out much better than I ever imagined. I’ve continued with the marker sketching at home, and continue to be inspired by the teachers sketches. Thank you for a great class. Great enthusiastic for beginners!

I enjoyed this class. Vlada was very attentive and explained us the basics of markers sketching. I have never used markers before and I found this class really informative with a good practice. At the end we drew a nice Christmas theme that I enjoyed drawing. The place chosen had a good variety of coffee, so overall it was a good experience. I am planning to buy markers and draw at home as I found it enjoyable. I would highly recommend this class to anyone wanting to learn a new skill and art medium and to have a fun time.

My mother and I attended the class. It was obvious from the beginning of the class that she knew her material well and being self- taught she could put herself in our shoes. I am a beginner to sketching, but feel that I’ve learnt enough to be able to practise at home. I did struggle a bit, but she was very patient and showed me the tricks. My Mom has some background in pencil sketching, but she really enjoyed the marker technique and felt she learnt something new. As a beginner I personally felt that the image we were sketching was slightly complicated, I spent more time drawing the image than anticipated. Vladena was kind enough to give me extra time to finish it off. My only other comment would be on the selected venue, we were in a Cafe seated on the actual eating tables, so lack of space and good lighting. Overall, happy with the class be already bought our kits to practise at home!

The class was great. My friend and I didn't have any experience in either drawing or marker sketching, and we were extremely pleased with our final piece of art, which was a realistic, mouth watering, pinterest-type doughnut. The teacher was very educational, going step by step to explain the marker medium, as well as the different drawing techniques such as identifying shadows and lights, and creating geometrical shapes without specific tools. Overall, highly satisfied with the class, I would definitely recommend even if you are a complete beginner, or if you haven't experienced yet the magic of marker sketching.

Vlada was a star! I felt super comfortable in the class and greatly appreciated learning new things about markers. I also felt she guided me very well through the process of making the art, from sketching through light/shadow to blending. I started off the class clueless about markers and had already developed some confidence by the end. I strongly recommend Vlada's class!

I really enjoyed the class with Vlada. The venue was comfortable, easy to find and relaxed, and I learned lots I can apply to future projects. We got lots of one to one attention, practised the basics, then were guided through sketching and colouring our final pieces. I'm thrilled with how mine came out and have been practising at home since. I'd love to do another class with Vlada. Thanks for a lovely afternoon that quite frankly flew by!
