Yen Yu is the founder of CozyPots, she has a sweet art studio located in South east London, she is an illustrator/ceramicist. Yen Yu has always dreamt of having her own studio in London, so that she could share what she loves with people. In 2018, luckily she finally got her own studio, she decided to share her workspace with people who want to experience making pottery but don't have the space and equipment. Yen Yu also teamed up with artists in different fields to create fresh experiences. In her studio, she usually teaches in a small groups, so each student gets one-on-one attention from the tutors. It's a small place but warm and cozy, it's a place for you to chill, learn and have lots of fun. IG@cozy.pots FB@Yen Yu Ceramic

So lovely! I had the best time. The class is really fun and allows you to learn the basics of ceramics. You will be in a small group (6-8 people), in a very relaxed atmosphere with cool music in the background. Very therapeutic :)

Yen Yu is a really good teacher. The class is very chilled and you can essentially make what you want after you learn the different hand building techniques. You can make practical things or experimental things, Yen Yu is very relaxed and will help bring your vision to life.

It's a very relaxing environment to learn new skills or build new hobby. The teacher is encouraging and willing to teach or answer questions me until I fully understand how it works. There are several workshop options as well as special workshop depends on events and holidays. I highly recommend spending some of your time to learn new things and release your stress :)

Super cosy studio with a lovely and helpful Teacher! We bought the 3 sessions and it was great to be able to come back over a series of weeks to work on our tableware pieces. I would highly recommend for anyone who is looking for a more in depth class. It was a chilled out vibe and we had a good amount of freedom to experiment and play. Would definitely go back!

Yen Yu is an excellent teacher! Patient, kind and knowledgable, she taught me so much about ceramics. I really enjoyed learning about the different kinds of pottery and glazes, and found it to be a little easier than I anticipated. I was able to make some beautiful items to keep, and look forward to my next session. Would recommend!

Had a fantastic first encounter of pottery experience. Yen Yu showed me step by step how to make a flower pot that I always wanted to make. It’s a therapeutic process very much similar to the effect of making floral arrangement at the UCFS flower workshop. Would love to recommend CozyPots to my friends.

It was a lovely session to unleash my creative juice! Sue is very friendly and patient. I went with my husband who has got strong hands...and struggling with shaping soft clay from the beginning , but eventually he made a lovely cappuccino cup, I was impressed! I made a fish plate which I love it! It’s a great session to relax from my stressful daily design job, I really enjoy it and would definitely come back!

I had a wonderful and relaxing experience with Cozy Pot. Yen Yu is a really lovely and helpful teacher, especially when I want to make something specific she always shares many things, style or techniques to me. Also the studio is full of creativity and cozy, as the name of it, almost perfect when the sunlight comes through the windows.

We attended this class as a family of four! Yen was incredibly friendly and helpful, and taught us some basic techniques to get us building. We made and glazed a teapot, a mug, and a couple of coasters. The venue is cozy, and has all the necessary materials to get started! We would love to take her class again, and would definitely recommend this workshop for beginners! Yen - thanks for making your workshop such a memorable experience for my family :)
