Embrace Mindfulness

James is a Mindfulness Teacher specialising in the treatment of stress and anxiety disorders, depression, bereavement, trauma and other life challenges. . He offers 8 week Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) courses to members of the general public and offers mindfulness based therapy to individuals.

Consulting from a private practice in Fulham and Chelsea in London, James uses a combination of mindfulness-based interventions and psychotherapy as a gateway to change, teaching clients how to come into relationship with their own thoughts, feelings and habitual behaviours rather than wrestle with them. This creates the conditions for emotional wisdom, growth and wellbeing.

James trained through the CPD programme in Mindfulness Based Approaches at the Centre for Mindfulness Research & Practice, Bangor University, and has completed Mindfulness Teacher Training Levels 1 & 2. He adheres to the Good Practice Guidance for Teaching Mindfulness-Based Courses published by the UK Network of Mindfulness-Based Teacher Trainers.

James is currently enrolled in a Masters in Mindfulness-based Psychotherapy programme at the Karuna Institute.
