String art is a craft, a bit like embroidery, but on card. The designs can be anything from geometric shapes to love hearts to ballet shoes! String Art has traditionally been done using wood, nails and string, however, the method used in the kits offers more flexibility in terms of what you can do with the finished product.
HOW LONG WILL IT TAKE TO MAKE THIS PIECE?
As a beginner, it can take between 90 minutes and four hours. There's no rush, though. You can put it down and pick it up again at your leisure
CAN CHILDREN DO STRING ART?
Yes, definitely! Children love string art and there are numerous benefits to engaging in this craft. It improves hand-eye co-ordination and fine motor skills and encourages concentration and patience. Most importantly, children's confidence is enhanced when they see what they have created. Because they are using a needle, it is advisable that children are supervised by an adult. This kit is most suitable for teens.
