After this week-long course you will be able to work in a chalet, on a yacht, or cook for families in their holiday homes. Students are required to have a basic knowledge of cooking beforehand (for the basics, check out The Beginner Booking Course). This course is designed to teach students a combination of the important theoretical stuff (e.g. recipes, food pairing, etc.) as well as the hands on stuff (such as knife skills and presentation).


Did you know

The chef’s tall hat or toque traditionally had 100 pleats in it to represent the number of ways you could cook an egg. These hats were adopted by the inventors of French haute cuisine, Marie-Antoine Caréme and Auguste Escoffier, to make it clear just who was boss – literally “chef” – in the kitchen.


In this course

Whether you fancy working for a family in your time before university, or want to improve your cooking skills and start thinking about becoming a professional chef, this course will help you reach the next level in only 5 days.
