Four session course
If you are an aspiring developer or designer and you would like to create websites using PHP technology then this is for you. Although this course is designed for beginners it is recommended that you understand HTML and have basic knowledge of programming. The course content covers the following: An introduction to PHP and the creation of dynamic websites Exploration of Apache The difference between server side and client side scripting My SQL databases Why PHP and MySQL are preferred technologies How to install PHP, MySQL, phpMyAdmin and the Apache web server PHP Programming in detail including syntax, variables, statements and operators The course will incorporate a variety of practical activities and exercises to help you practice your technical skills and understand how the various technologies work to create PHP content. The course is divided into a series of segments which improves learning and knowledge retention.
