What happens in this class?

With a hands-on practical approach, you will focus on essential improvisation techniques related to scales, chords, rhythm and the II-V-I progression. This is a great course if you are tired of being lost in your solos or have no clue on how to structure your improvisation practice session.

Topics to be covered in the course include:

  • Seventh chords: major, dominant and minor
  • Diatonic chords
  • Major intervals of thirds
  • The II-V-I progression
  • Rhythmic improvisation
  • Compose your solo
