During this training you can tailor the course to suit your specific learning style and requirements. Before you start the training you will be able to attend a consultation with a qualified tutor where you can discuss what you want to learn. Your tutor will then devise a syllabus reflecting the abilities and learning needs of both students to create a unique course that you can study to fit in with your schedule. Some students choose this if they want to travel with a friend or partner while others study with a friend to improve their career prospects. There are no restrictions as to the French topics that you learn and your tutor can work with anyone from any background whether you are a complete beginner or you are an advanced speaker who would like to improve.

FRENCH for Beginners (A1/A2) 

Love music? Love the French language? Combine the two in this fun class where we learn new vocabulary and extend our grammatical understanding through the magic of music! It's often said that the best way to learn a language is to immersive yourself in the culture and the music. But where to start? How do you find out what's 'hot' and what's not, what's good and what works for you?

We'll explore a variety of styles and you'll be singing French before you know it. Je t'invite à découvrir le monde de la musique française avec moi. Pas besoin d'avoir une belle voix, mais si tu as envie de chanter, c'est la classe pour toi!

Alison is a fully qualified and experienced language teacher - with a passion for Francophone music from all over the world. Come on a journey of discovery - and improve your French at the same time. Learn new vocab, hear that dusty grammar actually being used in song, pick up some new expressions and some catchy tunes to sing along to!

A reasonable level of Intermediate French is best in order to get the most out of your experience, but don't worry, there won't be any tests and you will only have to speak in French if you want to. Mostly, the class is about listening to some great music, from different countries, from different eras, but all sung in French. What better way to improve your language skills than to take away a great new playlist!

Learn French Through Music

Each class has a French vocabulary and grammar learning objective that will be practised through games and activities. There is a list of 12 language themes available. Some examples: Let's go out for dinner!, Childhood memories, Isn't cheese lovely?

The menus will be vegetarian (often plant-based) and based on availability of seasonal ingredients. We will use mostly local and organic ingredients. The teacher can accommodate vegan or various diet preferences like gluten free.

This is a German Course in a group for up to 6 students which includes ten 90min sessions over the course of 10 weeks.

These lessons are for everyone who is interested in the German language. Depending on your level you can book a beginners, intermediate or advanced class.

The class will follow a book which will be chosen by the teacher after the first lesson depending on your level and interests. There will be writing, reading, listening and Grammar exercises in every lesson. All lessons are specifically tailored to the group and always include a variety of fun, interactive and engaging teaching methods.

German Course - Mini Group

This is a Business German Course which includes ten 90min sessions over the course of 10 weeks.

These lessons provide executives and employees lessons tailored to their industry and professional context. Your work-specific terminology, therefore, will be incorporated into each German language lesson. Depending on your individual requirements, the lesson can also focus on telephone or email communication as well as reading and understanding specific German texts. You will also learn about the intricacies of appropriate behaviour and forms of address, typical business etiquette and the nuances of professional and formal language.

All lessons are specifically tailored to the group and always include a variety of fun, interactive and engaging teaching methods.
