Why should you use cold process soap?
Cold process is the most traditional way to make soap, the history reaches back thousands of years, it keeps all of the benefits from the oil. However it does take much longer than hot process, but the results are absolutely different. During the cold process, the soap will produce 20% natural glycerin which is what our skin needs the most to maintain good health. After using cold process soap for one month, you will see your skin is clearer and softer.

Jing, the owner of Token Studio, started her journey, and this story, as an interior designer with a background in architecture. After spending time in people’s homes, she noticed hand-crafted furnishings had pride of place in every room. Token was founded to give people the opportunity to fill their space with creativity. 

Jing is currently a signed interior architect working with Zaha Hadid Architects, which is one the world lead architect firm working under Prince Andrew Duke Of York.

The Token Studio Art team includes a young and active group of artists from different countries and possess many years of experience teaching. Token’s philosophy is based on appreciating the great artists and their achievements, throughout art, architecture, music, literature and science. Token Studios are not limited in what medium they choose or the methods they use, you will explore and independently find your own creativity.

We ask you to bring in 3 different garments that you either struggle with or that you are lacking some inspiration with. Everyone will get an initial consultation form prior to the workshop and their own personal online board set up for them as part of the package. This course is guaranteed to leave you with an inspired and invigorated with your wardrobe, ready to adopt new styles and fashion trends.

We offer both Cold Process Soap Making or Melt and Pour Soap Making.
Cold Process Soap Making - This is proper soap making and Involves using oils and a caustic soda solution to make soap with the traditional cold process method - but don´t worry, you will be in expert hands, You'll be guided by the talented soap and candle making expert and award-winning founder of Old Bexley Soap & Candle Co., Paula. She will share all her best tips and tricks for blending, scenting and colouring your natural soap.

There’s nothing more relaxing than discovering something new, working with your hands and bonding in convivial company. You will learn a new skill, experiment with creating you own scents and blends, and will leave with all the soaps you make to take home or gift to their friends and family.

All the soap making supplies are provided for you and brought right to your venue. This includes high vegetable oils and butters and essential oils which you will use to create a signature scent. It's perfect for your team building activity at the office or as a fun London activity for you to spend time with your family.

Most beginner level melt and pour soap workshops merely cover colouring and scenting of soap bases. At Go Create we’ve created an extreme version: to push melt and pour to its limits. We’ll cover melt and pour from all angles to ensure you have a good understanding of soap making basics and how to exploit melt and pour to its potential.  During the workshop you’ll make at least 10 soap samples which each cover  a different creative technique. But be warned, some may look and smell too good to use.
