What happens in this class?

Together we will make two different types of pasta, Linguini & Caramelle. We will explore the difference in textures between flour and egg combinations that make up 'Royal' & 'Pauper' versions of Pasta Dough, and then get to work on one of the more unusual and highly prized types of filled pasta that has yet to appear on menus in London!

Discover the art of kneading, resting and rolling your own pasta dough to a recipe that works. Learn about the origins of pasta, and the different techniques and traditions that surround this ancient art.

I finally managed to make my own pasta. I couldn’t be more proud. Laura is such a fantastic teacher, patient and knowledgeable. I have done many different classes over the years but Laura’s are by far the best. It is wonderful to spent time in her kitchen and meet new people who share the same interest in the food. I definitely will come back!

Laura is a treasure of knowledge. She is the most patient teacher, so I managed to overcome my fear of makkng pasta. After her class I had the confidence to venture out and create my own filled pasta. My family lovers her for that. Her teaching kitchen is a warm and welcoming place and professional at the same time.

A brilliant course. A friend and I booked as a treat for each other. We didn’t know what to expect. We arrived at a beautiful house and a beautiful teaching kitchen. Laura the teacher was clear and easy to understand and we had laughs and fun and experimented with new ingredients and recipes. We both came away with delicious goodies and feeling happier and more confident. Perfect! Thanks and we will DEFINITELY be back!
